100% agree, even more so as a Brighton fan,as the basis of the design of the Amex was based on Huddersfield, and having visted Huddersfield,I would say it is one of my favourite grounds that I have visted.Weird though there were no southern grounds in it,Sutton would be a contender, although to be fair,I am one that always enjoys visting any ground and always thinks that any quirky bits etc add to the character.

"Little" Huddersfield's ground was designed by HOK |(now Populous) a USA based multi national architectural practice with it's European Headquarters in London. It was built by Sir Alfred McAlpine and the basic arch design was later adopted by many clubs - and was also the inspiration for the Wembley Arch, often credited to Norman Foster, and as said below, also the Sydney Olympics. It was the first of it's type and won an RIBA award when first built. Bolton used the same Architects and it was built by Birse Construction.

Pegg, great video!! Of course there will always be "best of" and "worst of" lists, it's what gets attention. But, as your video so aptly illustrates, even the so-called "worst" stadiums are not bad at all; they have an appeal that evoke many expressions, including charm and nostalgia. They illustrate the very real fact that English football inspires fans like me who call it "soccer" and have only had the pleasure to visit the grounds at Notts County and Nottingham Forest. Keep up the great work!!
