This is the eponymously-named "anteater" railbus, so-called for its distinctive profile. Built in 1932 Wismar, it is the only surviving example and has been immortalized by several scale railroad companies, including my beloved LGB. Extremely simple in its construction, it has no reverse gear: instead, the engineer moves from one end of the railbus to the other, in order to run the other engine and engage the transmission to move the railbus forward and back along the track.

Leuke rit met authentiek materiaal. Alleen vind ik jammer dat ik geen opname heb gezien van de buitenkant. Ik ben erg benieuwd hoe die eruit ziet.
