When you are playing heads up blackjack, do whatever your gut tells you. Casinos wrote the book and it was meant to be basic strategy not the Bj bible. However, I would learn the dealer’s names and use them. Possibly pissing off a female dealer is your worst nightmare.👍❤️

Here is my take: when i was a full-time gambler and played blackjack almost 50hrs a week making an average 20k weekly. (Buy-in $500) each session. When you play the game long enough you start realizing when the shoe is against you and you HAVE to play by guts rather than the book. Yes having a guideline of the book is good but when you on a table THAT long you get weird tingles that tells you to play against it. So I dont have hate how NG plays some hands cuz it is a gut feeling when you play BJ that long enough.

Understanding the book is good to know what the basic strategy of the game is. Game is not to make 21. The game is not to make 20 the game is to beat the dealer by any means necessary. Splitting tens would be better than splitting aces because when you split aces you’re locked in and you can’t split again or double down. You’re just dealt two garbage hands and you hope the dealer bust. I hate those mindless idiots that always have panic attacks when you are not an OCD by the book player and you do something that there book that they mindlessly paying by says not to do. The game is completely random. It is random chaos. The book could say to hit a certain hand, but you could do it 10,000 times and only win 2% of the time it’s completely random. People leaving play by the comments are clowns
