The Buffalo was loafing during this round, for whatever reason. It was obvious the Buffalo did not have his "blood up." A Water Buffalo has much more horsepower than bovine bulls. This Buffalo just didn't want to fight. And nobody told the little bull he was supposed to lose. (It wasn't a very good fight anyway.) We've run cattle for 4 generations on this farm. The meanest bull I've ever seen was the smallest - a young Longhorn Bull. I used him to breed our first-time heifers because he threw very small calves for ease of calving. He was easy to handle. He never offered to hook a person or a horse. But put him in a small pen with any other bull and he'd gut him. ALL animals love a good fight. Dogs, chickens, turkeys, deer, wild hogs, etc. ALL animals will run to see a good fight. Just like you and I did when we were kids on the playground. We all ran to the action when someone yelled fight! Remember. I'm 73 and still love to watch a good fight. Cats, Bulls, horses, whatever.

It doesn't look like they are in a real fight ,but it does seem to be sort of a test of sort , because a real buffalo fight is way more intense and very ,very aggressive I saw in another test something like this kind of contest where they were a little more ruff ,and they both were huge the bull got in front of the buffalo and the buffalo in that clip thrust the bull into the air easily a few feet and bull ran off , and I'm speaking about they were the same type and make of animals . That buffalo thew the huge nguni easily .

Seens a couple of videos of Buffalo vs Bull, and surprisingly the buffalo seems to lose. I thought the buffalo has more advantages fue to being heavier, thicker skin and the thick bosshead horns but it lacks stamina quickly. Thats where the domestic bulls have advantage on. In the wild, the domestic bull has more chance to survive than Cape buffalo. An aggressive fast bull like a spanish bull will be able to shake lions off easier than a bull buffalo.

The buffalo's horns are longer and pointier than in the bulls ... Bull was very lucky as towards the end the buffalo's horns got very close to doing some serious damage. I was rooting for the domestic bull as we all know how dangerous Capes can be.
