Ngwenya & Mjejane 2022 Part 1

Myself, my partner, and 6 of our friends set out to spend a week at Mjejane Private Game Reserve towards the end of November 2022. Things didn't go according to plan and we had to alter our accommodation arrangements 3 days prior to our departure. We were still going to Mjejane, just not for the full 7 nights.
The first 3 nights we went to Ngwenya Lodge. Let me tell you a bit more about the lodge and it's location. Ngwenya Lodge sits perched along two kilometers of prime Crocodile River frontage. It is situated on the southern boundary of one of the biggest and best-known wildlife sanctuaries in the world - the Kruger National Park. You are literally on the banks of the Crocodile River, overlooking the game fence of the Kruger National Park, which passes behind Ngwenya. This effectively incorporates the resort into the greater game area and one has every opportunity to see all the species, Big Five included, which occur in the game-rich south-eastern section of the Kruger Park, without even having to leave the resort. Some units have river views, and some have pond views.
We were always going to spend lots of time in Kruger National Park. And I must say it is conveniently located close to Crocodile Bridge Gate, a mere 10 minutes away.
