In the 17th century, Kali Babu ( Bengali Jamindar ) made this road from Khulna ( now in Bangladesh ) to Calcutta ( Kolkata ) as per the information.
Drive Fron EM Bypass to NH 35 via VIP Road ( Kolkata ), Jessore Road Madhyam Gram, Barasat. From Barasat NH 35 connects with Petrapole and Bangladesh border.
NH 35 Connect is the most important road between Kolkata and Bangladesh. It connects Bongaon and Kolkata. Presently it is renamed as
NH -112. As a historical background, Jessore Road connects Jessore Bangladesh and Shyambajar in North Kolkata. The total length of NH 35 is 61 km long.
Earlier in the 17th century this road used to be called Kali Babu's Road. Kali Babu was Bengali Jamindar in that period and he made this road from Khulan of Bangladesh to Calcutta ( Kolkata ).
Later British Govt made this road for their use to connect the British Airforce in Jessore from Calcutta. There is a regular Bus Service between Dhaka to Kolkata. It's a nice road trip through NH 35 and hope you enjoyed this video.

একদম ঠিক বলেছেন। এটা কে সবাই যাশোর রোড বলেই জানে। কিন্ত এটা কে NH 35 ও বলা হয়। 🙏
