Awesome idea. I am an instructor for UBC hockey school, and I was the goalie for a kids (8 and under) 3 on 3 team. The other team was shit so I had to let in goals, so I played aggressive goalie. My team so so pissed at me, when it went from 8-0 to 8-7 - and I began telling them "I'm actually playing pretty good." They assured me I sucked, and one kid left for a full period crying to his mom. I probably shouldn't have said "My defense is really doing much." or "maybe I need to score a goal."

I play defense and I love people like him I'm fine with 4 on 5, I tell a forward that sucks at Defense to get the fuck up there and he gets goals and I get assists. Sometimes two defenders end up covering him and that's just as good. All the other players just bitch and complain.

The people who want to play, as opposed to farting around, are the worst? Really? I think bacon is funny, but... It's hard enough to get a decent game going with all of the people who quit if they don't get their position, or won't play a certain position, but quit if no-one else will play it...and the players who adhere to the philosophy that this game is all about what you do with the puck on your stick so who cares about things like forechecking, supporting the puck, backchecking etc.
