The reason why Tampa lost is that they got unlucky because Bishop was injured in Game 1. Stamkos had also something , I guess. He only returned for game 7. If they had Stamkos and Bishop during this whole series, they should've had 30% more chance to win the series.

So close to back to back finals for tampa. It's one thing that the pens knocked out my capitals the previous round but in this case knocking out the lightning was worse cause they had just went to the finals the year prior and if they had won this game instead of pittsburgh then it would've been back to back finals and 6 finals in franchise history instead of 5 and 5 finals altogether rather than 4 under stammer's captaincy and they prolly would've won after being just 2 wins short the year prior against the hawks and having the same roster except for 1-2 ppl from 2015. Then it would be 3 cups for Stamkos, Kuch, Killer, heddy, palat, johnson, Vasy and Cooper. Kuch prolly would've gotten the conn smythe if the bolts won since he was the goal scoring leader in the 2016 playoffs and 2 cups for Paquette, Coburn and Filppula and 1 for Big ben, Callahan, Namestnikov, Drouin, Garrison, Marchessault, Stralman, Boyle and Rick Bowness. Or in Callahans case 2 if he'd played out that last yr of his deal and had been able to play in the 2019-2020 season and the 2020 playoffs and the 2020 cup then decide whether to walk or retire in fall 2020 rather than have to retire before the 19-20 season even started. Poor guy. Oh well. No offense to sharks fans but the sharks would've lost either way due to lack of experience in the final. And If the capitals aren't an option, I would much rather see the Bolts go back to back than the pens.

Murray was such a mediocre goalie, and just got worse the longer he was in Pitt. Very surprisingly the Lightning could only score a few on his glove hand.
