If I remember correctly, when you started the series you set periods to 4 minutes. If you up the period time you in turn get more shifts/period. Sure it may make these videos longer and give you more to edit but you will see more ice time instead of having 2.5 games where you don't even see the ice.

There's a sim penalty in Settings that you need to turn off as well, or you'll drop basically every time you sim

That setting is the biggest lie in the game. I have mine turned off and if I sim 4 games I get sent down.

The message that pops up if you try literally tells you that you aren't good enough to request the trade, meaning you need to be higher overall. Doesn't matter how many seasons you've played.

doubt youll see this but @Nasher what i do for be a pro is sim the first 2 periods then just play the 3rd period, set period length to like 10 minutes so that way you still play about 4 minutes in the third.
