What I found with HUT: I use a free to play team. I’m able to get up to d4 without any problems, majority wins/division titles, then I hit a game where I play a stacked squad then basically the rest of my games are against insane teams. It’s like once you get to a certain point you start playing only pay to win teams.

Do rivals and squad battles man.. I will never pay a cent in hut to EA but I'm in div 1, you will definitely mostly always play teams better but you can still get a decent team.

Bacon I don't know if you'll see this but for some reason even though I'm new (Division 9) I'm still going against people with Matthews, Eichel, Benn, MacKinnon, Keith, Holtby, Coture, Duchene, Stamkos, Marner, Bergeron, Dahlin, Rantanen, Ristolainen and a bunch of others all on the same teams. It has happened multiple times. I shouldn't even lose but I do because their players are way better than mine. Why does this happen? Do they just spend lots of money? Is it a glitch?

The best way to get into zone is quick passes pass up the miďdle then pass outside then back to center 3 to 4 passes everytime before entering opponents zone once u get into the zone one touch deke to either side before passing back to the D or behind the net drop passes work perfect for people who play the trap game it draws a lot of penalties once in zone pass pass pass then shoot no matter of where the 3 pass goes rebounds r crucial always use L2 and push up twice when one timing the rebound or when anywhere near the goalie

Do greasy goals even go in anymore? Sure doesnt feel like it. Makes the game very formulaic to play. Try to pass across the crease and one time it. Or you can shoot from the hash marks. The only way to score it seems. I miss Bacons D to D 1T.

Dude I swear when it came to the copy and paste from 19 to 20 the big change was Fk defensive positioning (d man in the pass across lane but the puck goes through the d man), not look into legit glitch goals in the game (one handed tuck). Bro I understand the one handed tuck is a dirty move it looks cool, but what is not cool is that nearly everyone that does the move “right” on a breakaway or penalty shot it goes in. I don’t want it removed I just wish that EA can tweak the AI goalie to better read those certain plays, because it should not be a guaranteed goal all the time. Hell give the goalie AI rebound control too, some games it’s like the goalie has no rebound control

Dump and chase. Put forcheck on max and pressure their guys in the O zone. Don’t give them room for a breakout pass or for D to skate
