NHL 21 Deke Tutorial | The Michigan/Svechnikov/Lacrosse Goal

Welcome back boys! My first video in NHL 21 is a deke tutorial and it's the brand new lacrosse goal! This one is super difficult to get consistently, but hopefully with this video you'll be able to complete this awesome new deke!

I've been trying to pull this off while attacking the net. I've come close a few times, not the goalie in the face, but haven't gotten it around him and in yet. I'm glad to see it is possible if done from the right angle and at the right pace.

@@hockeybros4032 He did it offline on rookie mode. Infinitely easier than doing it online in EASHL. There are two people that have done it so far that I’m aware of though.

Ive only been able to pull the move off in open ice, its difficult behind the net, ive been trying for months to do the deke and just now after watching this video for the 10th time ive done it in open ice a few times its still tricky though to get the timeling right but i think once you can do it at will then it would be like the stick and the puck become an extension of you and the analog stick

The timing really is difficult. I'm in practice mode, trying to do it with the class I'll be using in EASHL the most, which is a puck moving defenseman. Not exactly ideal for the move, I know. In open ice, I did it twice, and the timing is rough. I'd want to use the break away version more, honestly. Actually getting it behind the net will be so tough online. But on a break away? Definitely possible. I'll be practicing this thing quite a bit until I can get it down.

I found that when doing semi circle at end point I would end right stick in middle after half circle Thought you could test and see if helps w lacrosse

Sick. I cant get the puck on to my stick no less get it into the net. I play be a pro exclusively. Ive turned attribute effects to 0 and all stick handling/deking to max settings on rookie and i cant pull it off. I can only get it at all started w Mario in free skate. The day i pull this off will be orgasmic...covid really gettin to my libido

FYI: I’ve scored on the Michigan 4 times in a row in practice mode with my dangler, but as soon as I go in to a game, or even team practice, with the same exact build, the conversion rate drops like crazy... It’s pretty obvious that they made it a lot harder to score on when playing online

I’ve definitely experienced the same thing. In this vid you can see me do it 3 times in a row in practice but yea even getting the puck elevated seems much harder online.

Kinda sucks that it is so difficult online and it is kinda good at the same time 😅 It’s possible to do with a playmaker in EASHL practice mode, I’ve done it quite a few times, but to do it in a game, I think you have to be a dangler.. which sucks 🙈

@@W32hyondsxcrickrollhjuit Nice dude. EASHL is definitely going to be the hardest because of connection issues and player ratings. You can’t adjust your player’s hand eye which I think may factor into success if the deke.

Michigan in front of the net seems to throw it off to the side, maybe a michigan cross crease is possible? That would look incredible

For example, a right handed player would do the deke on the left circle and it would throw it right

You don't have to aim. It's really hard to do though, you will have trouble with it at first.

well sometimes it's because your circle is the straightest circle. that happened to me. every time I attempted the deke i went in instant replay and watched my controls

You’re not timing the rotation correctly or not keeping your right stick around the rim as you rotate. Keep that right stick held down the entire time as your rotate.

It's definitely not impossible, but once you go online it becomes infinitely harder. Personally I'm fine with where it's at atm.
