This game is a joke! I even went to the extent of loading my team with draft players and was enthused by the fact that I had completed six objectives and on my way to getting a good chunk completed of a few more objectives… only to have the game crash on me which resulted in me getting hit with the loss and losing all of those objectives I had completed and will now have to do all over again! So frustrating! Fix your game EA! It is almost 3 days away from July! And thanks for shafting us with two 99’s that were basically already 99 and TOTY and TOTS cards! Absolute garbage! 🗑️

The devs must get off on screwing over their most loyal customers. A 2 week event that culminates in 2 99 cards that everbody already has, but they are better than the cards everyone has that we already paid a ridiculous amount to get. So we can pay a ridiculous amount for a slight boost to cards we already have or its another shit 2 week event. This is why the player base is perpetually pissed off at EA, dumbass move after dumbass move. Love the game, hate the way it is managed.

Mcdavid has only been a 99 for like about a week and a half bro ... he shouldve been at 99 when the playoffs started IMO...I mean come on, Bedard got a 99 before Mcdavid? Plus Gretzky , Howe and Lemieux should be at 99 before anyone else in the game, except for maybe the Fantasy Hockey cards... And fix Messiers damn durability and speed .. His 96 icon has like 67 durability and 90 speed and acceleration or something like wtf?

@@bsallows cant argue about Messier one bit. Dude gets robbed every year in this game. As for McD, what sucks is for those of us that invested in his TOTY, we now see other variations come out that have different abilities and attributes that may be better, and that SUCKS! IMO, you either get one the TOTY train when it comes or you lose!!! You miss out on McD, cool, you miss out ALL SEASON then.

I don't have McDavid or MacKinnon TOTS cards, but at this stage of tthe game do I really want to spend all the resources required to make them? Not really! My Pens first line is practically set in stone (just need to swap my XF Crosby card for his Quest one) and I absolutely love my Kuch-Matthews-Pasta TOTS 2nd too. A likely third liner with 99's across the board with Gold Make it Snappy though! 😫 I think I'll get saving up while I wait it out for a few weeks. 😅

I'm not sure why everyone is surprised about this. It happens every year. Once the game comes out on EA Play, the focus shifts from the players who have been playing all year to the new players who picked it up late (we've squeezed every dime out of them that we can from the long term players. Let's see what we can get from the new players and maybe convince them to buy the game in October instead)

I’ve played consistently since Christmas and got McKinnon they randomly Toty pack and haven’t been able to get mcdavid since so I’m glad they did this, lots of people probably couldn’t get a good mckinnon either thur toty so I like it

Yeah I started after TOTY passed and missed out and couldn't make his TOTS card either. So for me and many like us, we will take a MacKinnon card. But I do feel for the all year players who get shafted a bit, but at least they can still choose to make this

This is a huge miss for TOTS and TOTY owners. Should be a 1 for 1 trade in or a 1 for 2 like it is for TOTY to TOTS. Or they should have just chosen different players for the 99’s

I got draft dahlin in a random pack from rush last night and I am currently building lafreniere. I also got awards bedard from another untradable pack about two nights ago and two 90+ transaction cards from SB. I have 400k coins worth of assets right now to upgrade my right defenseman and my right wingers. I kinda hate how their hasn’t been any viable right handed wingers as MSPs lately so I have to try to get one on the auction house which might be hard. I already know which right defenseman I will grab from the auction house

I want to see abilities flipped around next year. The lower overall cards need more help, they should have more abilities maybe all silver abilities. Then as the cards get higher overalls you get less abilities but implement a mix of gold and silver abilities as they get higher. It would make lower overall cards useable for a longer duration of the season IMO.
