It annoys the heck out of me when players put up bad numbers but still grow to a high overall. A guy putting up high 30's in points shouldn't be 87 overakk hope they fix player development in NHL 25 but they probably wont.

It's always such a balancing act haha. Some players will grow even if left as a healthy scratch all season, while others will barely improve after having incredible seasons. I'm just glad Demidov's career wasn't ruined by being buried in his first couple of seasons but it's still a mystery as to how he grows so well nonetheless. Can we attribute it to the indomitable human will? 😂

This is about honestly how i project his NHL carrer to be. Im excited as a Habs fan. We landed a stud at 5. People might say: "Well he fell for a reason." Yeah i know why. The 4 teams either got Celebrini or picked for fit and not best player available. Maybe im delusional. But i think theres a world where Demidov becomes better then Celebrini.

I don't think it's delusional to say that that's possible! There's still a lot of development to come and Celebrini looks great, but I'm right there with you on the level of excitement surrounding Demidov. I'll see you at the parade! ;)

Thank you for the kind words! :) Sennecke could be an interesting one after going so high but you're right that he'd need a buff. In-game he goes in the 2nd round and I think caps out around 85-86 OVR at best. Maybe that's who he'll be but if he goes third overall you'd have to think that we give him at least Medium Elite haha. Hard to say exactly! I'd say they're GENERALLY alright in terms of good terms are good and bad teams are bad more often than not, but that's not a guarantee. Then, the further you get in the future, the more unpredictable things become as players change teams/linemates. For the players themselves, the sim is accurate to a degree but usually in "perfect world" scenarios. So yeah they're not horrible but they're more on the fun side of things as the AI GMs make lots of questionable decisions haha. Hope you enjoyed! :)

@@philipe711 I don't disagree, just that High Elite potential probably would have made him grow too quickly which is what we didn't want since he'll likely debut in the NHL in 2025-26. Thankfully having Medium Elite potential didn't have an impact on his longterm growth/results!

Hello, I don't know a better guy when it comes to the NHL games, could you please help me? The thing is: I want to make my rosters cap compliant so I did it by your tutorial. However, if I download newer rosters by EA and then merge it with my roster, the changed salaries are gone. Is there a way how to keep my rosters Cap compliant even after the updates or do I have to change it manually every time?

Hey Halbi! Unfortunately any roster merging will wipe out the salary changes :( You'd have to make sure that you're happy with everything in your roster first before getting started on making those changes. Hope that helps!

Thanks Bobby! :) I haven't done many goalie sims because of how difficult growth/performance can be but, if there were a shortlist of ones to do, Fowler would be close to the top! Maybe closer to when he's in the NHL conversation would make more sense so we know when his rookie season might be, but I'm sure it will come so keep an eye out!
