if you didnt pre order, id highly recommend getting EA Play for 5 bucks to test the game for 10 hours before sinking the full 60$ into it, not worth it imo

Now that I have played 3 seasons already I can say it's pretty much the same the conversations happen only once at begining of season after that it's just play game lol stats and new hub is nice change and tho

Overall, I’m quite happy with the changes. Kinda took me a day or two to get used to the new layout and everything, but I definitely like it now that I’m used to it. Sim speed is slower, but I’m willing to cut them a bit of slack (for now) since it has to keep up with all the box scores. Clauses are great, the one thing that would be nice is if you could ask another team to ask their player to waive their clause so that you can acquire them, but that’s a pretty specific issue. Contract negotiations are alright, as well as most of the conversations overall. I do wish you could back out of a topic by just pressing B/O, and I have had one issue where I was trying to make my coach take a more offensive approach, but I didn’t realize they already were, which actually forced me to pick a different option because it lacked a New Topic option. I feel like trading is a bit harder at times on any difficulty, but that’s was probably a good change. Definitely a step forward for the mode overall, but I won’t deny there’s still plenty of room for improvements.

It literally feels fucking slower than 24. I mean it's like they put zero effort into the most basic shit.

I think it would be very beneficial if for players that have your team on their no trade list you could see if they would waive to come instead of just not being able to trade for them period. Same for no move clauses. Just a quick little conversation either with the player himself, or the GM of the team he is on to see if he would consider waiving if a deal is close

I see a lot of hate on this years improvements to Franchise mode and people wonder why they hadn't improved it in years. If you're just going to complain when they do make some improvements, then why would they feel inclined to continue to make improvements? I wonder what the community would think if we just lost hockey games all together? Would they then beg to have it back like they do 2K Hockey (which the majority shit on for years) or would they just accept it and move on?

Im so confused. Can you not offer a trade to a team to ASK their player to move their NMC/NTC ? If its randomly decided if your team is on a NMC/NTC and you have ZERO practical control, im sorry but whatever goodwill they earned here is squandered and it is a half baked mode.

cant wait for your roster! I think I may just hold off on starting my franchise until it's ready. Question - when you create a prospect that is missing, what do you do with them? Just put them on their NHL team's AHL affiliate? How do you do their contracts?

If its a player with no contract they get assigned to a Euro team, that way they can remain unsigned. If signed then ya I put in the AHL!

05:18 the goals are supposed to be how your players stats increase not for immersion in the game. Assigning short term and long term goals allows you to dictate your players growth.
