While the stats may be underwhelming in comparison to last year, I think the player choices are excellent. All franchise legends and known leaders, which I feel captures what team builder players should be.

Also, aside from this I think that these 89s are better than you give them credit for. I have both Backstrom and Koivu and the difference between the two is highly noticeable. Obviously for players needing depth, it may be better to wait on these new cards, but other than Shane Doan and Alina Muller, I feel like there really isn’t much competition between the 86 and 89 ovr TBs

If any one these TBs would cost the same as MSP I would believe they are great but not when you have to trade in cards who cost way more and none of the TBs are outstanding to say it’s a must make card

No, it’s just how they create the cards this year. I just think that if the card cost that much it should have something to offer like free ability or something but they are same stats / synergies / abilities like any MSP

I had 28 86 TB cards, so now I have 14 89 TB cards. I'm there for the long haul so I can't complain about one round of TBs. So far Letang and Hossa have been lights out for me. I love those cards.

I agree with everything you said. Had they come out during the PTN event, then they would have been so much more alluring. However, they are literally only 1 ovr point higher than the current MSPs that are free to make. Additionally, if they weren’t going to be stacked with abilities and synergies like the 90s from last year, they should have at the very least had FREE gold abilities. That would make them so much more desirable.

Just feels like the weakest upgrades for TBs I ever seen EA releasing. I will make Alina Muller for my PWHL lineup and just enjoy using cards I like, these are not upgrades I was expecting

Great video .NHL content creators are also our voice to EA I like that you call them out it's obvious they don't watch nhl or play their game .I understand the old hut team was moved to FC25 an we got new team but if you can't do good job you don't deserve that job an should be called out I only play rivals an squad battles all moments bore me sometimes do wild card depending on rewards

I do Moments-WC-SB for objectives and sometimes Rivals for XP and champs if I have the time. I don’t think the cards are bad but the cost and what you get isn’t something I can suggest anyone making if you can use the same cards to make icons or X factors who will upgrade during the year and offer more to your team

They are definitely as a stand alone not worth it this year as they are very equal to MSPs. However if you slowly acquire at least 2 each time though 40k packs and untradeable players you at least get value back when you trade for the upgrades whereas MSP are only worth whatever that overall trades in for once not needed

Thanks for the video and opinion...I like the TB release, as I grew up watching most of these players...I am going for Letang, as I had his 85 in FF event and liked it alot....Would like to upgrade from XP Drysdale (the 80 ENDURANCE at his his top overall rating is too low for me). 10 levels from XP Hedman. Already have FF Seider. 10. Wanting to solidify D-corps. Overall, I think theses recent releases were good for players who grew up watching and wanting to be in their shoes and can make impact on your gameplay, in my opinion.

Always make your favourite players, my points where mostly directed towards how much they cost and what an actual card have to offer, all cards are good but there are cheaper alternatives, including holo icons who are also players we all watched growing up. I personally would not make Letang because I have decent players on RD side and I don’t want to bench anyone, was expecting to see bigger ( Chara type ) player.

Your advice is brutal saying the PWHL card is the best 89 lol. She's the slowest forward and 5 foot 5 lol 😆. Comparing centre's 5 speed slower or crosby to backstrom is insane lol saying Barkov is better as well is a minority opinion are they as good as last year no but they are really good especially considering all the free resources we get to build them and the discounted/free team builders. All your videos are about spewing garbage complaints. I agree that Gartner is worth keeping, and there is no guaranteed top 89, but you're way too critical. I got mcdavid xfactor for free working the market does that mean other cards aren't worth it because you can get Mcdavid Free with effort. Just rate the card not compare to cards way worse and say you'd rather have 85 Niewy because it only required champs. It's extremely biased and shows that you're just an NHL hater this year.
