Felt like cheating to go Vice only for them. And the Miami Screaming Eagles were a WHA franchise, or we're going to be, so there was some history behind the idea. My head canon is that the Panthers move a little more north into Orlando lol

The Cleveland Barons colors appear to directly align with the traditional Cleveland Cavaliers Wine & Gold. The original Baron’s uniform colors (red/white/black)were great for their time but these are much sharper. Would love to have seen a take on the Cleveland Crusaders uniforms (purple/black/white). The Rosebuds was the name of the Portland team in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association back in the 1910s. And what kind of a name is the Saskatoon Atomics. It has nothing to do with the City of Saskatoon (and I should know, I live here) or the city’s hockey history. Our team in the old Western Canada Hockey League in the 1920s were the Saskatoon Crescents, sometimes known as the Saskatoon Sheiks. Our team in the minor pro Western Hockey League in the 1950s were the Saskatoon Quakers. Our team in the Major Junior WHL is the Saskatoon Blades. So where did the Saskatoon Atomics come from?

Hey there, I think your question about the Atomics name is super valid! I struggled with finding a name. When doing some research on Saskatchewan, I found out it's the world's second highest producer of uranium. So uranium being an important part of atomic bomb construction and all, that's where that name came from. Mind you, that doesn't mean it's a good name! And if you're a local, and the name doesn't speak to you or apply to your community how I thought it could, then that's my bad.

AHL Cleveland Barons (`37-`73)...i went to many games in the 60`s & 70`s when hockey still used chicken wire for glass and fights were never separated until a knockdown ....old men were always drunk, loud and great fun for a wee lad to enjoy ( and get his 1st sip-o-beer)...NHL Barons never had a chance owners wanted to merge from the getgo and I would change the Cavalier for a Baron in a heartbeat....really diggin those colours and I like how ya steal the Cavalier`s stuff, man

I live in Virginia Beach, which is the biggest city in “Hampton Roads” also the largest city in the state. Hampton Roads is the nickname of seven cities in Virginia. Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk,Portsmouth, Hampton, and Newport News. we have an AHL team called the Norfolk Admirals and at sometime during the 90s, we were in the runnings for either an expansion team, or a relocation destination of an existing NHL team. I can’t remember which. After a vote of team names Hampton Roads Rhinos was the winner

I loved seeing the Portland Rosebuds, it's so fucking cool. I'd love to see more diverse naming schemes, getting the snot beat out of you by the Rosebuds would rule. Reminded me of the team I made for San Antonio - The BlueBonnets, which are the state flower. For my Portland team I named them after the Cascade mountain range they reside by. - The Portland Cascades. Spokane and Halifax are crazy inclusions while leaving out San Antonio and Salt Lake City IMO. Loved Providence and Baltimore being there. All in all I really liked this league, but I think I need to put the pen to paper and make my own if I'm being this critical.

So a few things: the dad at the end of Ciudad is equivalent to “ty” in English, so Trinidad becomes Trinity in English. So Ciudad becomes City in English. The Hogs reference for Milwaukee is because Harley Davidson is headquartered there and hogs is a nickname for motorcycle. Portland is the Rose City but also called Stumptown after they “Stumped” all the really tall trees. Portland has its issues but I love it there. The Leafs alternate was amazing as was Florida and the Coyotes third jersey. That’s next level!! I thought the racers could have used an old style car like they first used at the 500. Mexico City was amazing.the Maroons predate most Hockey Teams. Maroon has a checkered past (racist) as a name for certain ethnic groups. The Constellation on the Alaskan Flag is the Big Dipper used for navigation in the northern hemisphere. The two stars at the end of the “pot” point to the North Star. I’ll leave it there. Some great designs here.

As someone from Warwick, RI I would 100% support the Providence Narwahls, even over the Bruins who I've followed all my life and the Panthers who I've followed since 97. Hampton Roads had an ECHL team called the Admirals (which is a much more appropriate name for a team in that area). They are now the Norfolk Admirals and playing in the AHL.

There was an NHL bid in the 90's for Hampton Roads called the Rhinos. It was apparently well-received and was spear-headed by the owner of the Charlotte Hornets of the NBA, but didn't get far during the expansion process.

I'm wondering if the "Werewolves of London" concept has anything to do with the Warren Zevon song by that exact name. And FYI, the Coyotes used it as their goal song while they played at America West Arena (now Footprint Center) from 1996 to 2003. Perhaps the team is for London, Ontario. The Carolina Hurricanes concept logo reminds me too much of the ECHL's Cincinnati Cyclones. The Omaha Mammoth concept is sick! I would make the O on the primary logo oval shaped instead of squared off. Not a fan of the stripes down the sleeves from the shoulders. I also like the Arizona Coyotes home and road jerseys, but without the paw logo from the last "howling head" home jersey. That alternate jersey is too much for me... What is considered the "Hampton Roads" region is where Norfolk and VIrginia Beach are located. As for the Hawai'i reference, it comes from the original Polynesian name of (according to Wikipedia...) "a mythical Hawaiian fisherman and navigator who is said to have discovered the island of Hawaiʻi". Obviously, the name of the state is our English language version and always used. My favorites? In order of how they were shown... Pittsburgh Penguins alternate and Vegas Golden Knights alternate. The Knights primary logo in neon, wow.

For Avs I think the pants matching the bottom jersey color, and solid color socks colored to the top jersey section would look good. For the Wings, hate the logos, maybe one closer to the current but more symmetric would be ok. For the 3rd, I like a steel grey but more simple striping would be better. Keep the standard red color as well I think. Use the standard logo but use a silver instead of traditional white, like the centennial jerseys but maybe even a bit darker.
