hard to call it the best video game ever, but IMO it is easily the best sports game ever ... even 95 couldn't hold a candle to this game. 93 was pretty good as well

I'm gonna have to agree with my colleague above, Dapper Dan. Best Goals and Saves? Did you take 30 minutes one afternoon to sit down and save footage, because these are really run-of-the-mill performances. Several of the saves were hot though, espcially the one at 2:30, but again, I'm sure you let as many in as you did make saves on those goalie dives. Would have liked to have seen more one-timers, which is the thing that made this game so epic when it came out, and as it lives on today.

I had this back int he day 1993 I believe. This game was the easiest game ever especially against the computer. When you can win 62-0 or ridiculous scores like that its just not a challenge. I haven't played video games in ages but can anyone recommened an NHL NBA MLB game where its a challenge even against the computer?

In my opinion, One Timers are the easiest way to score, and become quite boring after a while for me, everyone are doing them. We probably don't agree on what is a good play or not. In one timers, you pass and the game make the rest for you. And those were compiled through a few months back in 95 or 96.

Thanks for the post. However your opponent is terrible. First your saving a lit of those bc he sucks at one timers, giving you time to react. Secondly your diving across the crease to make saves leaving it wide open, it would take two seconds to adjust that nonsense by passing it right back immediately for an open netters. Couple nice moves on offense but u don't pass enough, a good defender, which ur opponent is not, would be checking add and parking in the middle to stop those garbage goals
