The Dallas Stars Elite Hockey Club (DSEHC) which is one of our region’s strongest youth/amateur program wear a variation of this jersey. Several NHL Players (particular the Jones Brothers [Seth and Caleb]) and Blake Coleman played for them growing up.

Ooooo alternate jerseys! Obligatory ranking time because I have nothing better to do during quarantine (thank god for Neil)! Here we go! 1. DET - As if a classic couldn’t be made into something different...this one is beautiful. I’d love to see this as an alternate for sure. 2. SJ - It doesn’t need to be poppy to work. And this reincarnation of the Stadium Series sweater is awesome. 3. NJ - Another try at a NJ black jersey. But this one is done really well due to the striping & white numerals. 4. MTL - Seeing the Habs in blue is always something I’ve wanted to see. This design would be it, and it’s very simple. Like the Habs should be. 5. TOR - Another classic look that’s simple, added with those blue arm tops, and it’s very nice. 6. NYR - Finally a Rangers third that works. And I actually like this Lady Liberty one (I usually don’t). It’s not too much, it’s got the numerals perfect on the back. And the striping is perfect. 7. CBJ - Cannon. That is all! 8. STL - I didn’t think the navy blue with the Blues could look classic, but this one is absolute fire! Love the yellow music staff in the back! 9. LA - This design is very cool! The logo and the purple is awesome! Even that grey instead of yellow doesn’t make this too “Lakers”-like. Very nice. 10. WPG - This one surprised me with the colors. And it’s very cool! Very clean! 11. OTT - Another good Ottawa concept! Maybe a bit busy with the striping but it’s so much better than what they have now. 12. BUF - This one is so much better than the “Turd” jersey! The royal blue makes this one so much better, as well as the white with it. 13. MIN - I don’t know why people don’t like the red as a primary, it makes the palate pop more to me. Very nice. 14. FLA - I’ve said in another vid that I didn’t like this logo on a navy blue background. But, for some reason, I like this one a lot. The gold sum points on the bottom make the panther stand out. 15. CAR - I think it’s cool, but I don’t love it for some reason. I can’t pick why. 16. TB - If the gradient was all white instead, I’d love this jersey so much more. 17. AZ - The striping of this one is awesome! I don’t know about the logo though, I’d feel like having something different would make this pop a lot. 18. DAL - This one is kinda cool with it being black and that awesome Texas numerals. If there was green up top more, this would look perfect. 19. ANA - It’s a great design, but it would look even cooler in white rather than teal. Or if the logo colors were a bit different. 20. EDM - A simple look, not bad at all. Feel like the white as a number color makes it a bit plain, but can’t complain. 21. COL - Same as Edmonton with the exception of the numbering. 22. VAN - The stripe behind the numbers in the back bother me, but I dig the green. It’s alright! 23. CGY - Back in black? Nice! But there’s something about this one that doesn’t make me like it so much, and I can’t pick it. Maybe it’s the striping? Idk. 24. CHI - Cool redesign, but I think it’s too creamy. 25. BOS - Nice, but it’s nothing really unique here. Could be their primary home honestly, as it doesn’t look that different. 26. PHI - Flyers in black is nice! But the striping makes my head hurt. 27. NSH - The dark blue is cool. The checkered flag is okay, I get it with Bridgestone being the arena sponsor. 28. NYI - Seeing the Isles in orange would be nice, but this one is eh. Maybe if the outline of the logo was white? And no 4 Cup stripes on the sleeves? Idk. 29. WSH - Sharks? I get the mesh of the 90s & the Winter Classic, but it’s not working for me, opinionatedly. 30. VGK - Holy *Golden* Knights, Batman. 31. PIT - The stripes...yikes! Awesome job Lucas and hope to see more soon!!

Favorite: Florida Least Favorite: Columbus (I’m very critical of any design regarding my team, if the light blue and dark blue were swapped it would be far better.) Interesting thing I noticed: I believe the numbers in the outline of Texas on the Dallas Jersey was a reference to the Cleveland Barons, who had their numbers in an outline of Ohio. All in all these jersey designs were all decent to great. Though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Columbus, Nashville, Vegas, or Winnipeg ones, they all had elements I really liked. None of these designs were bad, and all of them look like jerseys the teams could actually put out.

For the most part i agree with you and your list. I also would like to see the Kings go back to purple as a main color. I also like the Crown on the breast from the 60s. They could maybe enlarge it or touch it up a bit. As to the Ducks , the sleeves don't seem to blend in right. Love the Rangers Liberty head too. Being from Detroit i like the jersey but i prefer the larger winged wheel minus the DETROIT on it. Finally , i prefer the current Blackhawk logo. Sorry about the dissertation lol. Great job.

I think that the Anaheim jerseys are really close to being great, but what throws me off is the contrast of the green and purple at the shoulder. If the green was carried into the outer portion of the sleeve and the purple was still used in the underarm, it would be pretty gorgeous.

Absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, the Devils and Stars should embrace the black look, the Canadiens jersey is exactly how their third jersey should look, and how many times have I said that the Canucks need a green jersey, and how good does that concept look? That Nucks jersey is beautiful. I hate the orca and I've been wishing for a kelly green one for awhile. However I along with many Nuckers prefer the black Yellow spaghetti jerseys. The one they used this season should be our home and the white version (which really pops with the black yellow red accents.) For a 3rd it's a tossup between the Red or yellow of the late 80s early 90s they're just sick IMO. But since our owner is on record as being a huge fan of the current color and has spent millions building the brand, it's highly unlikely such a change would ever occur. So with that this example should be the template of a 3rd.

My two negatives for the ducks jersey: 1. The arms do in fact look wrong to me. Definitely the long stripes vs. what we know to be normalized lateral striping across the sleeve rather than down it. Looks a bit soccerish. 2. Both colors, while enjoyable and thought provoking, are very soft/unsaturated? Makes the whole jersey a bit grey/lackluster. If you took those exacts shades of green and purple and made them more saturated/bold the colors would be perfect (for me)

Just some precisions: Nashville had this "checkered flag" pattern back in the days on their blue jersey (great jeresy btw). For Boston, Neil... common, it's the BRUINS. So, it's not your screen. I think Lucas intended to have this brownish color... for the "BRUINS", you know. That was their original colour... Anyway.

Number 1: Los Angeles Kings. Generally, I don't like purple as the primary color for the L.A. Kings (i.e.: Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens, Sacramento Kings), but this one is classy and the exception. Number 31: Minnesota Wild. Red ought not to be the primary color of this team's sweater, instead it should be pine green/evergreen.

Ah no offence meant friend I like all the Canadian teams really I just happened to pick the Flames when I played NHL 2003, I think my mate was more expecting to back a team that was winning everything, I did tell him caps/bolts would probably be more his scene but he didn't listen and went on history lol. I don't really hate any teams tbh, I kinda don't like the california teams since they're a pain in calgarys ass most years, Flames definitely my favourite, probably Leafs second because you can actually have a second team in this league and as long as their on the other coast you don't even need to worry about conflicts, just back whoever needs the win more the 2 times they play each other lol. I'm not from Canada or US but the UK so my game is football really, but I'm a Man United fan so obviously the last 6 years haven't been a great time, when I played the updated nhl game on the xbox one I fell into the sport quite quickly, channels like this one and The Hockey Guy help

I have 2 favorite teams also but they play in the Same Conference not the same division I like The New York Rangers there more of an east team while Montreal is more like a North east division with your Leafs. I see you like Soccer Manchester United when on Vacation in Ireland in 2018 I picked up there warmup jacket.

Alan Shields Hamilton South Lanarkshire Scotland. The the three Jerseys I like the best are in no particular order are. Rangers jersey with Lady Liberty Logo. Chicago Blackhawks Jersey with retro logo. And Blue Jackets with secondary logo. Flyers & Ducks jerseys had a little to much going on for me in terms of the striping on the arms. The Red Wings logo was lopsided & wordmark need to be just a little bit higher up in order to fix the logo. Was unsure about Sabers playing in yellow as a 3rd jersey myb should have been black, white & red. Mixed bag for me in terms of concepts but over all extremely creative. Golden Knights looked more like The Olive Green knights more than The Golden Knights.
