I see him as the next Mario Lemieux, of this era. Now obviously he will not going to score same numbers as Mario did, but i see him score few/several 100 point seasons in his career and has everything in him to score 50 goals as well in the NHL.

Mario was a generational talent, we are still waiting on McDavid to go up one more notch to get there. Byfield has potential for elite status where you build your team around him no doubt but Mario was in a class limited to very few.

@@KH-le6kt Yes he should celebrate his black heritage, BUT he shouldn't ERASE the fact that he's also half white which seems to happen far too often these days. Why shouldn't BOTH sides of his background be equally celebrated? Its the same with others like Obama or Beyonce where they call themselves 'black' rather than saying proudly that they're of bi-racial heritage. Is it that hard for them to acknowledge that and be happy about it? PK Subban actually has two black parents, Byfield doesn't. I don't know why many black people feel such a need to make bi-racial people be considered 'fully black' instead of saying what they really are. I don't think I've ever seen other races/ethnic groups of people be so desperate to label bi-racial people as being 'fully white' or 'fully asian' when they're half asian or half white as black people do.

Yes. Lafreniere is the total package, well polished and NHL ready, but Quinton's potential is so scary and actually a year younger than Lafreniere. I see Quinton as Malkin or Kopitar 2.0
