Yes and no. He was great up until the finals last year but his overall history is not great. In 9 NHL postseason years as a #1 goalie, he has sub .900 SV percent in 3 of them and above 3 GAA in 6 of them.

They thought they could forecheck their way to a Stanley Cup victory until Vegas neutralized it and exposed them for what they really were. The only reason they got as far as they did was because Boston choked and every other team didn't have the speed and finesse to counter their forecheck.

I remember the 90s when my Wings, the Devils and of course the Avalanche were straight up dominating. I had NHL 95 on my Sega Genesis and would play with the Panthers for a challenge, you guys really deserve a Cup!
