I don't think anyone played as hard as the Preds did against us. Sure some of the other series have their tough moments, but this series legit has been the tightest checking, no free ice, grind it out series that's been played in years. The shot totals for the series were low for a reason. Shot blocks through the roof and tight checks everywhere. The Preds were SUPER annooying to play against and that's to their credit. If we can bring the same level of defence against Edm, with a bit more offence, we'll have a good shot of replaying the season series outcomes. To be fair, Edm is firing on all cylinders - Hyman is an absolute beast wildcard aside from McD and Drais. Should be a good round 2 for hockey fans!

The Preds were a tenacious team and Saros was unbelievable, but in spite of all of that, the Canucks found a way to win some low-scoring affairs, killed off some key penalties (who would have thought they would have only given up 2 PP goals all series?!), and had a 3rd string goalie playing like he was 94 McLean? The Oilers would present a whole different level of challenge, but if there is a team that can find a way to prevail, this team may just be able to do it... Go Canucks go!

Surprised Pikachu face incoming when you realize that's not how it works. A blatant open ice crosscheck. Canucks fan here. Glad it was called. It's so ez to judge from your mom's basement but reffing a came isn't ez. The variance is through the roof in a game like hockey so come back here after the series vs Edmonton so you can admit that there's no 5g implanted in your lizard person overlord.

@@Lloocii You are NOT a Canucks fan. I'll bet you think Shorthouse is a good play by play guy too right? He's horrible. I saw at least 2 Preds get away with the same cross check that was called against the Canucks!!! The Canucks had ZERO power plays. Also that Boeser penalty was not a high sticking. It was in the act of shooting the puck. The refs sucked @$$.

@@Lloocii My main issue with the officiating this game was the complete lack of calls on the Pred's penalties then that the Canuck ones weren't legit calls. 0 penalties on the Preds other then that even Steven call for the 4 on 4?! 0 power plays for the Canucks?! You can't say that's legit!
@Seriously_Unserious7 ай бұрын
@@MickLoud999 That Boesser penalty, I could see being maybe a single minor, but the double minor was way over the top for a borderline follow through. The lack of Canucks powerplays when the Preds did commit a few penalties that could have been called is what's truly suspect IMO.
