"If you're a goalie, play the goal" is a pretty good rule UNLESS you're Igor Shesterkin. His handling of the puck when he leaves the crease is as good as it gets, and his passing and vision are something else entirely. His teammates know he's capable of seeing and making those plays, so they're looking to get open when he wanders.

It's over for the Pens. Up 3 games to 1. Game 6 your up 2 to nothing at home and you can't win. It's over. Rangers will blow them out at home. Big question will be, will Crosby retire if his concussion is bad enough. He is a smart guy and may not want to risk anymore concussions and live out his life with constant headaches, vision problems, balance and every thing else concussions bring. He has NOTHING to prove anymore. I would retire.

It was definitely a bad goal but Dominigue I thought made about 5-6 brilliant saves, and he has played better in this series than could have been expected. Penguins scored one goal in last 45 minutes, and that was the difference. Once Malkin made that amazing steal and score, thought it was over for Rangers. Game 7 a tossup and any Rangers fan or anyone who thinks this series is over is out of their minds………just as any Penguins fan who thought series was over at 3 games to 1 was also dead wrong.

Nothing to Wonder about. Crosby, Best Player in the World, Conn Smything in the first round, ahead 3 -1 , ahead 2-0 in the game, 35 minutes in. Rangers ZERO. Trouba elbows Crosby in the face when he's not looking (after elbowing Guentzel in the head earlier in the game, like his teammate elbowed Rackell in the head, earlier in the series) gives him a concussion, Crosby leaves the game, Rangers score 3 goals in 2 minutes AFTER he leaves. Lost one of our best defenseman in Dumoulin along with both #1 & #2 goalies out to injury. The fact we are still competitive speaks volume to this team. If we had everyone healthy we would of smoked them 2 games ago.

Рейнжерам терять было не чего: поражение в матче- вылет (как прогулка по минному полю).Пошли ва-банк и вырвали по сути безнадёжную игру. Даже кипер отличился передачей.

Дружище, безнадежная - это 3: 0 на 60 минуте матча. Здесь, в плей-офф в смысле, не дворовые команды соревнуются. Это игры равных по классу команд высокого уровня, и 2: 0 это не счёт в середине встречи. Побеждает в данном случае тактика тренерского штаба, игровая дисциплина, физ.подготовка игроков. Да , и передача клипера говорит о том, что он отлично видит и читает игру, а также о разнообразии тренировок. Такой пас- это заготовка , возможно креатив, а не случайность или ротозейство соперника.

Compared with the way Jarry played last year vs the Isles, Domingue has been the 2nd coming of Hasek. He's been pretty solid for the Pens in a series where it's been about "trading chances". If you watched last year, the Pens had 3 Grade A chances for every 1 the Isles had, if not more, but Jarry couldn't stop anything. He just seemed to freeze and let shots whiz past his shoulder all series long. Domingue showed tonight why he's been a journeyman back-up goalie tonight. That last one was awful. As for the Rangers, they aren't playing the same level of team defense we saw in three straight wins over the Pens late in the season. In those games, PPs were 9 for Pens, 4 for Rangers, and yet the Rangers controlled play. Here, it's been back and forth all series long.

It was bad, but he's played pretty well under a lot of pressure. Jarry was MUCH WOrSE last year vs the Isles. If I was a Pens fan, I'd be angrier at Rodriguez for taking that stupid penalty. You're up 2-0, and you know the Rangers PP can be deadly. One of the reasons the Pens were even IN this series has been that they've taken (or been called for) very few penalties. If you watch some of the other series, teams are getting 4-6 PPs per game. The Rangers haven't hand very many in this series.
