Tough loss for the Buds. No reason for Leaf fans to feel bad about this one. I live in EU, so couldn't see the game, but from the highlights, a couple takeaways.. 1) Stolarz is a revelation. He'll need assitance from Woll from time to time, but this is lowkey one of the best tandems the Leafs have had in over a decade. They could easily be dark horses for one of the best tandems out there (not like top of the league, but you know, up there. Top 8), and 2) Lorenz might be a tremendously good pickup. Time will tell. A 47-27 shot count, and a few posts would indicate the Leafs weren't far off.

One of the most exciting games I watched in person finished 0-0 between Montreal and Chicago. Dryden was in nets for Montreal & Tony Esposito (traded to Chicago from Montreal) was in nets for Chicago. I think both goaltenders had to turn away over 40 shots that game. That will never happen again since OT & shoot-outs have been introduced.

This was a really good hockey game to watch! Even though there was only one goal, it was fast paced and had great goaltending for both teams.
