I' agree the delays sucked (and ruined the flow for both teams), but don't blame the refs doing it in real time on ice. I'd rather we limit or get rid of the reviews. Both were technically correct, (and definitely the second), but the Kerfoot goal required NASA-scientist math to figure out and the offsides in the Drouin goal was well before the actual goal. Reviews should be limited to the obvious cases (which rarely happen), like the Duchene goal that created it. Hockey's fun because it's fast and can change at any minute and watching 5 minute slow-mos of pucks in the air or whether the heal of someone's skate was still over the plane of the blue line is the antithesis of that.

@tome.577 We can all make arguments about the offside reviews. One way or another, we are in 2024, we have advanced technology enough that refs should be able to look at a video and determine if a puck passed a blue line before the player did faster than it took them to. Not to mention the goalie interference and high stick reviews. There are cameras pointing right at MacKinnon when both those incidents happen, anyone with an iq of 50+ can look at a video for 5 seconds and see if he lifted the glove while it was over the puck (which it wasnt) or if Drouin lifted the yotes players stick into MacKinnon's nose. As far as the Avs offside review, It's sad that as an Avs fan I had to watch the Avs have a good offensive shift for nearly a minute knowing welp this is all for nothing it was offsides, since I was able to see it was offsides on a TV better than the ref staring at the puck 10 feet away from the entrance, pretty sad tbh. The whole reason for my complain is having two goal taken away and two missed offsides in a row was ridiculous. Wish they would've just gave both teams the point and continued the game 4-4.

Georgie was screened by his own player for one of them. That tends to happen for some reason. He made the saves at the end of the game and that's what matters.

Whoever is coaching the Avs defense is doing a lousy job. They are constantly leaving guys wide open in the slot. Why don't they pack it in like good teams do to them? Long range shots have a lower percentage of going in than short ones.

Ah yes, when you are in one team’s pocket you definitely wanna give the other team 6 pp vs the 4 given to the “favored” team. That trope is so old. The refs suck, but the suck league wide without prejudice

@@bdenver601 Except, certain teams get alot more help from the refs. This year, again, it's Colorado and Florida. I shouldn't say refs as they're just doing what they're told to do. It's all Bettman.

@@Emma_2Banks WTF does that matter when a goal was taken away and allowed the Avs a goal for CLEAR interference? The only reason they called offside on the Avs was because you can't argue 3 feet ahead of the line. Had it been as close as the Yotes offside, it would have counted, guaranteed
