For years the Leafs could score goals, the problem was preventing them. Without Morgan Reilly, what the hell would they do? The defence is a Maleta Coffee filter allowing the best stuff flow through. So...what does ShanaPLAN's hand-picked GM do, he goes out and signs 31 year-old Klinberg who is -68 since the '19 - '20 season. With Nylander's contract looming, Treliving (unaware?) awards John with a generous contract for 4 years. He then signs a slow, 36 year-old dedicated fighter who was -19 the last 4 years and is now -30! There is $7m locked up for 3 years and $4m for another. IF someone (like ShanaPLAN Shanahan) was the least bit competent, he would have been aware that Treliving ALLOWED Goudreau to walk away from the Organization and got nothing back. He would have known he traded Tkachuk for 29 year-old Huberdeau...then sign him to a 8 year contract for over $8m/Yr. He got 28 year-old Kadri and signed him to a similar contract. Currently they have 4g each, and are colle tively -22; they're costing the Organization $16m/Yr and will for 8 years! The Team Treliving built is now a disaster yet Burke and Gretzky say he's "great"? Not one soul had the kahonees to call this out! The Lezfs and the entire Organization needs an overhaul. Just because you can pack the barn every home game, it doesn't mean you're doing things right. You could have a horrible Team and fill it the rafters, Leaf fans are that fanatical, that loyal. I'm a hockey fan first, a Sens fan second and have called out Brian Murray AND Dorion for killing this Team. I care about all the Canadian Team's and I happy for Vancouver, the 'Peg, upset with the incestuous boys club who run the Oilers and have hope for the Habs. With new Ownership, and perhaps Staios becoming the new GM, our future will automatically be better. Dorion is just one of the many who work in the NHL because of nepotism. Check out who 2 of the 3 AGMs are in Edmonton. They are shameless...check out what became of McDavid's Agent. The media in each town have become extensions of each Team's public relations arm...spreading love and joy keeps the doors open for them.

After watching the OSU - U-M game today, I had no interest in hockey. That is until I saw the Leafs were losing. Well worth the watch. How's that Toronto grit looking now? Happily anti-Leafs since the Toros (WHL) left as I figured without any competition in the GTA, they wouldn't care about winning a Stanley Cup.

Game Highlights are 10:23 long - the 1st Period alone takes up 7:36 - the 2nd period 2:08 and the 3rd period takes only 0:39 seconds !!! - pretty much tells you everything you need to know about the game - the Leafs QUIT after the first period up 2-1 - hint hint - its 60 minutes long guys - you lost by ONE goal and cannot even fight for it the last 40 minutes of a game - PATHETIQUE in French is the same in english PATHETIC character on this team - Stanley Cup bound? - doubt it - if you cannot do it in the regular season you sure as hell are not going to do it in the playoffs - these guys have been LIFELESS for the past 8 seasons when it comes to playing with some passion - when you are OVERPAID to LOSE - why TRY to win ?
