Great game from the Sens! Forsy made some big saves and kept us in it. Still being a little bit too fancy with passing on the PP especially on a 4 on 3 but was nice to see Timmy bury it. Great play on that 2nd goal from Highmore hitting the puck midair off Pinto's knee and in he did a great job on that 3rd line stepping in for Cousins after he left with that knee on knee collision. Better effort compared to the last couple games guys keep it up against Utah today. GSG!

Battle of Ontario is dead. Ottawa needs to just hope that they can face us in the playoffs, they legit might be able to avenge their failures against them in the early 2000’s. Leafs lack of effort in the final 3 minutes was alarming. No matter every positive step I think they’re making they always have games like this that make me doubt, and I think I’ll be proven right in doing so in the end yet again.

Why does nobody talk about the risk of celebrating and quitting on the puck when it’s unclear that it’s when it? Every coach should have their players MAKING SURE it’s in. There’s no whistle, Marner is fumbling with it a millimeter past the goal line and Ottawa players just skate away and celebrate. Both players should’ve dove and shoveled it in to be sure. See this all the time. Should always shovel it in until you clearly see the puck in the net. I’ll never forget Mackinnon a few yrs ago, in the playoffs, celebrated thinking the puck went in. It was in the paint and he threw his hands up instead of making sure. Costed a goal.

On the winning goal there were three things to look at. Was it a high stick, was there a kicking motion, and was the puck even in the net. I think Ottawa should go back to Forsberg against Utah. Even though it is back to back days, you have to go with the hot hand , given how tight the standings are right now. Merilainen was the hot hand but now it is Forsberg,. I think Ullmark is close to coming back and after tomorrow they don't play again until Thursday.

The goal was not kicked in using a skate or foot as per the rules, children. It bounced off his knee and any kicking motion was done after, watch the replay.
