I remember that game like it was yesterday. It was 5-1 but Nick Paul scored shorthanded at end of 2nd period to make it 5-2. Sens hen scored 3 in 3rd and won it O/T.

it's been an unfortunate season for ottawa, but i always thought that they are way better than what the standing shows. with a few tweaks prior to the season, and with some luck they could have easily turned into a vancouver version two. i hope tonight's game gave them some glimpse of hope to their team and their fanbase. very happy for them!

Only one game to watch last night, so I was watching the home fans also, I appreciate hockey and to see the Sens comeback like they did was impressive, seeing the fans go from bitter disappointment in the first period down by three goals to tie the game and then to grand elation with the winning shot in OT, outstanding. This victory puts Ottawa above 500% at home, they still need something for the road and as well as they played last night I cannot see them remaining at the bottom of the division for long. Thank you to the good folks at SPORTSNET who put these videos together.

That's a big ask. There are currently only 6 goalies in the entire league with a save percentage of .920 or better.

Forsberg and korpisalo are fine. This "goaltenders should save X%" is due to defence being just utter crap. Big defensive D is also quite often the most useless.

Have you seen the goals they let in? 4 goals on 4 shots the other night against the Rangers? The D in front of them may let them down at times, but they are letting in many goals that must be saved by NHL-level goaltenders in my opinion. Cheers@@markiv2942

This game & pulling of Goalie, even if, but for to change the momentum of the game, is the exact thing that My Rangers should be doing when it's so obvious Igor Shesterkin isn't doing well (& they should be replacing him with backup, Jonathan Quick), or, if there's the need, vice versa. Let me know what you think, since, it worked in this game for The Ottawa Senators.

Tell me how you lose a lead like that and act just like how the lions did in the playoffs??? For some reason this was the game that really hurt and had me crying watching that in OT. Kraken and Blues are going to keep the Preds from the playoffs and honestly it’s the Preds fault because of games like these. They need badly to win on Wednesday and to have some kind of change after the break. I don’t know how the hell they do this but they need help badly. (Also how does Saros get a penalty?)
