The Sergachev situation is so unfair and tragic. Really hope it looks worse than it is. I hope he is somehow able to recover and return this season but I doubt it. He is a great guy and a warrior on the ice

Honestly I think it’s smart to give quick these starts. Give Igor the next three starts against some pretty low tier teams to get some confidence back. He has it in him to be the best in the world. Maybe just a mental thing.

​@@NYRangers520essentially, Sergy's skate picked the ice when he went in to check Laffy, Laffy reverse hit Sergy, and then Laffy's skate caught Sergy's calf on his way down.. Sergy's knee and ankle both went the wrong direction on the play. Just brutal after Sergy's first game back from a 17 game absence from blocking a shot with his foot.
