NHL Home Jersey Hockey Concepts! AMAZING Set!

Glad these were so well received! Couple notes for each team Anaheim - You nailed exactly what I was going for. It also ties into something you touched on a few of my other concepts, where the striping has some play with the stripes. Really happy you caught on to those details. Arizona - You nailed the inspiration. I'll just say, wait until you see the alternate! Boston - Inspired by my personal all time favorite Bruins jersey, the 2010 winter classic. I did get a little bit more "out of the box" as I knew the Bruins were doing some special uniforms this season for the 100th anniversary, so the focus on this one was more "does it look good" compared to "would they possibly ever wear this full time". Pastrnak also wears 86 in this universe :) Buffalo - Nailed it. Wanted to keep it simple but make the changes to the areas that would have improved it for the better. I tried to add some of the embroidered detailing on the Buffalo like they currently have, but it didn't translate very well in this case. Carolina - This is one of my personal favorites as well, and the base of the design actually goes back to about 12 years ago. Columbus - Not a lot to say here. Jersey stars the dollar store version of Johnny GAUDREAU on the back Calgary - One of the designs where, I didn't think I could outright IMPROVE what they currently wear, so I decided to just go in a new direction entirely. I always really disliked their late 90s/early 2000s era of design so I wanted to come up with a way to make that look nice in my eye. Chicago - You're right about the number. I tried a few different style variations and ended up just keeping the full stripes. Personal pet peeve of mine when the stripes get cut off along the back. Colorado - Current brand is Iconic and I don't think they should ever change, but I DO think the logo is a little dated. I decided to lean fully into the Yeti theme for the concept, and theres an homage to the original branding with the A snowflake logo on the pants, as well as the stripe on the arm like you mentioned. The alternate is another one I think you'll really enjoy. Dallas - Fair point with the copper/gold callout. I wanted to keep it much more "Dallas" centric as opposed to throwing back to the North Stars days, so the overall colours and balance were inspired by the "Star" uniforms but using the current green. Detroit - You summed up my entire thought process for this one entirely. The whole goal was to force myself to come up with an ALTERNATE design I think would be plausible, and use that as the set for the Home and Away. Don't shoot me Wings fans, your uniforms are iconic and should never change! Edmonton - A little combination of eras here. I dont think the oilers have ever had a bad look aside from those early Reebok Edge disasters. The alternate logo is a fun one, with the Gears/Wrench and Oil drop forming an E. This set has a controversial alternate that I'm really excited to see reactions on. Florida - Another set where I didn't really think I could improve on it, so I tried to just go with an alternate take on a direction they could have possibly gone during the last rebrand. LA - Not a lot to say. Pretty simple, obvious changes. The alt is one of my favorite sets of the whole series. Minnesota - Similar to Florida, they have a great home set already so I just wanted to come up with an alternate take with a consistent look across their entire brand. Montreal - One of maybe 4 designs with absolute minimal changes. The away set is a bit of a change up, but the homes didn't much adjustments at all. New Jersey - I love your idea for the 2 reds, and I wish I had thought of it sooner. Nashville - Not a lot to say, again, feels like an evolution of their most recent rebrand. I think they've downgraded their look at every turn since that switch to yellow full time. New York Isles - I love the Fisherman, so I tried to come up with a design I think would be passed by old man Lou in the front office. New York Rangers - Lady Liberty looks so damn good on the front of their jerseys. I know the wordmark is iconic, but it always feels so boring making a wordmark concept. Ottawa - Simple, sensible changes here. Brought back the unused updated Senator head logo but replaced the bright gold with the bronze colour previously used by the Sens. Philadelphia - The design on the arms are meant to evoke a flowing/flying pattern (similar to the Hurricanes idea). Pittsburgh - I think its a good call on the lack of blue in the Logo. The home uniform is my least favorite of the 3, and I think the blue works a bit better on the other two in my opinion Seattle - Kraken, tentacles. Enough said. Probably not the most original but they already have a top look in the NHL in my opinion. San Jose - This was a design I created 2 years ago, before their most recent rebrand (I love it, and its much superior IMO) The off white is actually GOLD, replacing the orange, but adding the dazzle effect makes the colours look a little lighter than intended. Really wanted to embrace a brighter, more tropical motif for the Sharks. The number font is actually their current number font. it's too good to pass up. St. Louis - Looking at it now, maybe its a little bright, but if they were to ever stray away from an already incredible look, I'd love to see them go this direction Tampa Bay Lightning - This one was always a lock in my head. I brought back the first blue they ever used, as well as the victory stripes under the arms as they are such an Iconic thing for Tampa in my opinion. Toronto - Another design with minimal changes. I really just wanted to fix my only gripe with their set, with the mismatching stripes between the Arms and Torso. The alternate is my favorite of the bunch so keep an eye out for that one. Vancouver - They introduced a similar design in 2019, but the lack of white made it a miss in my eyes. I kept the rain pattern inside of the numbers as well as that sick mountain design they included in the new alternate set. I'm admittedly an Orca logo truther, but I think this would be a quintessential Canucks uniform. Vegas - Yeah, this is all the same shade/material as they currently use. The colour balance on the current gold uniforms is a bit off, so I think by introducing a bit more black back into the fold, it makes it much more palatable. Of course I made sure they had the option to use a gold helmet as well, but this time in metallic flake instead of Gold chrome. Winnipeg - Nailed the inspiration for the design. It's not actually meant to be a gradient on the silver, but it's just to reflect that the material would be more of a metallic/dazzle fabric that was used a lot pre Reebok edge, instead of flat grey. Washington - I'm glad it gives off Stadium series vibes, as it was directly inspired by their recent WEAGLE uniform, just scaled back to be a bit more traditional as an every day uniform set.

Great looking jerseys! Not a Kings fan but what do you think it would look like to add in small stripes in their Forum gold, maybe on the arms and on the bottom? Oilers looks great. That IS my team.

One of the best concepts I have seen Neil share. Outstanding job. Anaheim - Great concept. However, I would prefer the original primary logo (the duck mask) on the front. Also, I'm not sure if the black names and numbers would look great on TV. I know their current alternate does have it, but the outlining is thick enough to make it easier to read. Arizona - I love what you did for the Coyotes. I would like to see how this concept looks with the current name and number fonts. Also without the phantom shoulder yoke. I'm also thrilled you used the crescent moon logo WITHOUT the wordmark for the shoulder patch. I think adding the Kachina striping pattern from sleeves onto the socks would balance the uniform more, but without it, it is fine with me. Would love to see what versions in black and sienna jerseys would look like, PLUS an updated/improved brick red "howling head" logo jersey with black as a secondary color. Boston - Great job with the Bruins. I agree with Neil that this would be more well received as an alternate and not a primary home jersey. Buffalo - Another excellent jersey with some welcomed changes, but I'm on the fence if I want the primary logo changed and going to a darker blue instead of the vibrant royal blue. Mostly because it took the Sabres so long to finally go back to the classic uniforms a few years ago. Carolina - I know Neil loves it, but I'm more in favor of simply going back to their original home jersey. Columbus - MAJOR improvement and I would welcome this immediately. This is despite me not liking their logo set to begin with. Calgary - I like this concept, but I for some reason do not love it. But I do wish the Flames used this instead of that ugly "Blasty" logo. Chicago - I do agree with Neil that the Blackhawks numbers are hard to read on this jersey atop the rear striping. I would also suggest the traditional white name and numbers with thin black outlining. I also see this as an alternate jersey and not a new home jersey. Cannot ditch the primary Blackhawks logo on their home and away jerseys. Colorado - I like what you did here, but if the Avalanche were to ever steer away from their current logo since the day the team moved to Denver, I would want their current alternate logo that is inspired by the original NHL team in Colorado. Dallas - These are perfect for the Stars. I agree with your approach completely. They don't need to look like the North Stars as they have now been in Dallas longer than they were in Minnesota. I know some want a return to the logo and alternate jersey worn in the 1999 playoffs, but not me. I do like their current set, but I'm not a fan of the Blackhawks hem stripes. What you did here looks great. Same with adding that third color to the crest logo. Detroit - Agreed, excellent for alternate jersey... I do have an interest in seeing those stripes on their primary red home jersey though. Edmonton - This concept is one I think is not an improvement over what they currently wear. While this is good, I prefer to keep what they have. Florida - I disagree with Neil. This is exactly what I would want for a future Panthers jersey! I would even make the updated leaping panther even bigger, but keep the same distance between the top of the head and the collar to allow for the A or C to placed perfectly on the jersey. I'm tired of the boring shield logo they have had. These are the Florida Panthers and should not have some military inspired uniform that they are wearing. Los Angeles - Outstanding job. If the branding does not change, I would also use that crown logo. I love the purple base color with the black, silver and white striping on the hem and sleeves. I even like the "LA" wordmark on the shoulders. Only thing I want the Kings to move away from are the current name and number fonts and to the traditional block font name and numbers from the Gretzky era jerseys. Minnesota - This is not one of the best Wild uniform concepts I have seen, but you keeping the primary logo on the front is a plus. The uniform lacks color outside of the crest logo and that has me wanting more. Montreal - Perfectly done. End of story. Nashville - I really like all your improvements to what they currently wear. BUT, I want to see the 3D crest logo on it as the Reverse Retro 2 jersey did. New Jersey - I do really like what you did, but I do not want a change from their actual logo. This one here does not do it for me. New York Islanders - Solid concept. Nice touch with the 4 notches representing their 4 Cups. I really wish the Islanders would go back to using the name and number fonts used on their navy blue and white jerseys worn from 1998 to 2007. New York Rangers - This is awesome. I always wish the Rangers would go to the "Lady Liberty" branding full time, but they won't. Your concept is very similar to one I saw before the Reverse Retro 2 jersey was unveiled. The only thing I would want to see the Rangers themselves change along with what your concept has is removing the red behind the NHL shield logo at the front of the neckline. Ottawa - Fantastic changes. IF the Senators insist it has to be a 2D logo, that one works! But still want to see the 3D "Scooby Doo" eyed logo as "The Hockey Guy" refers to it as such. Philadelphia - I have seen better Flyers jersey concepts, but I like the dominating orange for the overall jersey. But I want more black such as for the hem striping. I'm glad you did away with contrasting nameplate color. They overdid it. Like the Rangers, I would like to see the color behind the NHL shield to be also orange. Pittsburgh - It is a solid concept, but I prefer the Penguins primary logo or at least yours with the head upright instead of tilting down along the top of the triangle portion of the logo. Reminds me of an senior citizen who no longer has good posture due to old age. Saint Louis - Great design, but I want to see more yellow in the striping. I agree that their current home and away jerseys are awesome. San Jose - Outstanding job. But I prefer their actual primary logo on the front. Seattle - Nice touch with the tentacle pattern on the sleeve stripes. Tampa Bay Lightning - This is such a huge upgrade that it is horrible the Lightning have not considered this. Send this to them now. Better than their new alternate jersey. Keeping the current primary logo has hope with this look you created. Even a white and blue version of this would be fantastic. Toronto - I agree with exactly what you said. I do like their current jerseys unlike past versions such as the Mats Sundin era. Vancouver - Looks awesome. I would remove the laces and the white collar and just have the matching blue for it instead. Las Vegas - I'm very open to that light shade of gold, but I prefer their actual Vegas Gold jerseys. Would also be open to your design for this one. Curious if you would do a charcoal gray, black and red version of this! Washington - Light years better than their current uniform set, one of the very worst right now in the league. Beyond outrageous the Capitals are still one of the Reebok era holdouts on the ugly jersey template. Then you see why both their Reverse Retro jersey are so popular. Winnipeg - I love that shade of the power blue. I don't mind the current logo on it, too. Again, wonderful job on all these concepts. I even watched this video a second time because it is that good. Looking forward to the potential white road jerseys for the teams! Maybe even alternates!

I very much like Carolina, LA and Nashville. And I think Nashville is my favorite here. I always like the stripes to mean something, and the stripes on the arms reflecting the saberteeth of the tiger is smart. Also, the guitar fretboard on the inner collar is pretty clever! Using a pale/cream color for San Jose is a fascinating idea. I'm not sure I'm sold on it with this concept, but I think it could work. I think the shade of teal was also brightened, maybe desaturated. It gave the Sharks a very "classic" look in a new, unique way. And I think that's the start of a great idea there. Other things I noted: Music staff striping for the Blues, big fan. Attempt at adding brown to the Bruins. Maybe not quite the right shades going on there between the yellow and brown, but I noticed and appreciate it! It's hard to nail those colors. Tentacle-influenced striping on the sleeves for Seattle, cool. Lighter blue for Tampa: love it! Wish the design was a bit more... electric, while maintaining those colors. Good ideas on some understated designs at times. Definitely a classic looking set.

Love that you noticed a lot of the little details I snuck in. The idea for the "cream" colour is it's actually a metallic Gold, giving off the vibe of sparkling sandy beaches, along with the lighter teal. A bit of a modern take to the old Golden Seals look. Nashville is definitely one of my favorites too. I think you'll enjoy the alternate design for Tampa. It goes right down that alley.

It was extremely difficult to pick a favorite for me, because this was an OUTSTANDING set, one of the best I've ever seen. I ending up choosing the LA Kings jersey as my favorite. I love the crown logo being used, and the puple, black, and silver go very well together in my opinion. And I really like the LA shoulder patch that was used. Outstanding job Daniel, these were some of the best jersey concepts I've ever seen.

There were some solid jersey concepts but my favourites were the Seattle Kraken cuz it’s unique with the tentacles making up the stripes,The Tampa Bay Lightning for its striking balance of black as the primary with blue and white as the secondary colours and finally the Blues for simplicity,the stripes really balance out nicely with the logo and colours.

As a Jets fan I haven’t liked any concepts to date, but this Jets one is getting there. I would suggest changing the stripping to be thinker like the Aviator blue or 90s Reverse Retro.

All of these concepts by Daniel were very well-done and it is hard to pick a favorite, but the Tampa Bay Lightning one was probably my favorite. Having said that, I didn't care for the Rangers or the Penguins sets as their current ones are better in my opinion.

Definitely two sets that are hard to improve on IMO. I just wanted to go with something modern and different enough. My beer league team wears the penguins uniforms, so I naturally love those!

Anaheim needs to go back to teal/purple. I get that they play in orange county giving the color significance, but since they changed their jerseys in the 2000s they have gotten worse and worse over time. They do have some awesome alternates. I like the one they had that was basically the 90s jersey and logo but with the currebt modern colors

I want to see the logo recolored so the wheel is black(like a tire should be) and the wings red of course, maybe add some grey or silver to hubcap. Add black into their colors. I know tradition it will NEVER change, would love to see a concept like that done.

@Patch3y I agree with perfection. I wouldn't mess with the home & away. But for a 3rd jersey, I would do the home jersey in black. Double stitch red & white letters & numbers. And it wasn't really a knock on yours. There have been a lot of bad jersey concepts for the Red Wings. Yours, besides the weird Stadium Series D. Isn't that bad.
