I mean it’s not over yet. But I was watching video after video of predictions and blues being called underdogs. Kinda had me scratching my head. These writers fall in love with these sexy superstar studded #1 lines. But give credit to the blues. They have recent cup experience. They have 4 great two way lines with 9 players with 20+ goals spread throughout the lineup. This was only one line doing the damage so far. In my opinion their best line is they’re 2nd line centered by Thomas. They haven’t even gotten going yet. And they have cup experience. I think ppl are sleeping on this team a bit. The wild needs to have a short memory not and forget this game.
@icecoldpolitics88902 жыл бұрын
@@anthonyholmes3411 Wild are not quick to forget anything trust me. Eight playoff appearances in nine years none of which went anywhere forces you to be quite understanding of your chances. Wild just need to score this game was won by the blues goalie. Also recent cup experience means nothing at all really. Caps have had recent cup experience and they have not made a lot of progress post season since then.
@anthonyholmes34112 жыл бұрын
@@icecoldpolitics8890 I disagree about the experience part. You learn simple things but they’re important. The biggest thing you learn is scoring first significantly betters your chances as well as winning the first game. In a 7 game series that is a big deal. Also the team learns to have a short memory. Don’t sweat losses. Once the buzzer sounds it’s over. That can be preached all day. But it can only be learned and proven by going through those ups and downs as a team. To play for each other and truly trust the guy next to you with your whole heart. And I always thought Fleury was overrated. Everyone talks about all his playoff experience. He went to the finals 3 times and only won once I believe. But he was on ridiculously good teams. Pittsburg and Vegas. Great team defenses. You put him on a talented run and gun pond hockey team in the playoffs and he’s just above average. I’d put Talbot in goal. But it’s also hard to blame Fleury in this particular game also. The wild need to start thinking defense first and let the opportunities come to them. They’re too worried about scoring.

For the playoff game, St. Louis didn't even break a sweat. The SLB looked very confident. Such a Minnesota SLB may not notice the three matches remaining up to 4 wins. Minnesota's defense helped Fleury very badly (all the goals came from finishing). Minnesota's attack, even in the majority, was predictable as a change of day and night. Minnesota needs to add in all aspects. Otherwise, the score in the series will be 4:0. And this, probably, even the SLB and their fans do not want

Fleury made lot hard saves but to many good scoring chances

Minnesota hit the post 4 times so it actually was a closer game then noted.I,m going for the blues all the way but it is interesting series by far.

This Blues team reminds me on the Stanley Cup winning team, but better. Hopefully they stay hot.

I was foolish to think this game was gonna be one of the most interesting. But lord that Minnesota defense left Fleury out to dry. Say what you will about his playoff performances in the past, but man it felt like he had to be superman to have a chance to keep this close.

Wild defense is great at filling the slot all game. Trouble is, St. Louis isn't shooting from the slot.

22 of the blues shots were from the home plate/slot area. The Blues lead or were close to leading in shots from the slot this year.

Все шайбы после добивания. Где были защитники? В атаке моменты были, а где реализация? Слишком нервничали, нужно успокоиться, и собраться, тренер должен найти нужные слова.
