As a wings fan, I feel like we aren’t getting the respect because we were in the playoff mix late in the season for the past two years and fell out both years. I did expect Calgary to be in 16th after a great week. A win over Winnipeg, Boston in overtime, and making the oilers looking pedestrian by exposing their defenses I thought Calgary would move up a bit higher.

After last season I'm quite happy that we are 'struggling' a bit this time around. Let's hope we can peak at the right time this season. And even with the struggling we are still doin' pretty good. Go BRUINS.

Only gripe I have is Carolina at #2 over the Rangers. 10 game win streak AND leading the Canes by 8pts in the division . Rangers should not be below Carolina IMO
@maxfish42707 ай бұрын
The Rangers streak: 23 Sens - 11 Avs (OT) - 16 Bolts - 32 Blackhawks (OT) - 17 Flames - 28 Habs - 25 Isles (OT) - 8 Stars - 22 Devils - 13 Flyers. Congrats on probably winning the division but the schedule gets a huge assist on this streak. The Canes have played 6 top row teams in their last 12 games.
@SJD631NY7 ай бұрын
@@maxfish4270 I don't make the schedule. Just like any other sport, the job is to beat the team in front of you on a given night. No team has done it better than NYR for the entire month. If strength of schedule is the best argument you have, and are already conceding the division.... I think that says enough

Avs went 2-1-1 this week, not horrible. But apparently they don't look good right now. Vancouver almost went winless for the week yet they remain a top team 😂 Shannon quote "it's not about who's the best team it's about who is playing the best right now" places Vancouver at #5

I was hoping that the win again against the Canes would’ve saved us from moving at all but nothing can redeem that Ottawa game 😂. Stars are starting to look good and I loved seeing Stank in tonight, he played great and I’m hoping he stays; this upcoming stretch should see Dallas securing their division I think.

I think Detroit just has a lot of haters, bith because they used to be dominant and are an original 6 team. They've improved a lot over the years and made some significant trades, they are a sleeping giant.

It's even more impressive when all the teams muscle is injured, Billy G's vision of big muscle and grit is looking like it was holding the Wild back (and obviously the injuries that destroyed the first half) the wild have Bogo, Maroon and Foligno out and the Captain out for the year. If the Wild can just get Freddy and Johansson off the 2nd PP unit as well as get Johansson off the 2nd line the wild would improve.

The red wings are a playoff team and might do some damage in the playoffs. Will they win the cup? Likely not but they will not be a team you want to play in the first round.

Vancouver is rated wayyy too high. 1-4-0 in their last 5. He says it’s a weekly ranking so they should be lower. If they crack off back to back wins to close out February, then move them back.
