I'm disappointed that Conor Sheary's goal against the Flyers didn't make it. We get so many "if you're a goaltender, tend the goal" dang-its, but that one was a "if you're a defenseman, defend the goal" dang-it. That one gave the goaltender so much reason to say "dang-it" to all five guys on the ice who decided to leave Sheary alone in front of the goal.

Jersey number 27 seems to be cursed for the Panthers. First Bjugstad got called for goalie interference when the Colorado goalie appeared to have tripped him. Now this guy gets a goalie interference call when Quick should have been called for embellishment. I wouldn't be as salty if both guys were called, but that was a dang it on the referees for not calling an embellishment on the play.

Yeah, i definitely understand why these incidents would be considered Steve's Dang-its for The Worst Plays Of The season. One being when an Ottawa Senator player takes a big hit and players are all round him and no one is playing the game and the referee doesn't and the referee should have whistled the play dead to check up on player to see if he is okay, but instead the play isn't stopped and then Buffalo and Ottawa resume play and scores a goal because of it. What a mis-judgement by the referee. What is going on here. Too many misplays that could've have been avoided. Hopefully the next season wouldn't have so many Misplays.

Goalies get so many rules protecting them from “normal” skater which is very good and indeed needed for the game but the goalies should also have much stricter rules for what they can do to players, yes I am upset about #7 Dell’s hit. For example, goalies punching players in the mouth with the blocker that is hard as stone and in my 22 years of watching hockey I have never seen a goalie get a penalty for that but if a skater does that they get at least 2 min if not 5 or more. More protection for goalies should equal more responsibility and or Jared punishment if they are out of line

I still don't think #8 is a Dang-It, let alone one of the worst of the year. Perhaps a good way to cut down on some of the pushing and shoving BS that slows the game down would be to have play continue and have it cost teams goals and games. Especially if there is not going to be a penalty on the play. If it is not worthy of a penalty then perhaps it is also not worthy of a whistle.
