Flamingos are because of the lawn flamingos popular in vegas (and miami) in the 80s. Also, the flamingo hotel in vegas has flamingos, so yes, Nevada has flamingos. Thank you for pronouncing it correctly, by the way.

Flamingos get thrown on the ice in Vegas after every win. It’s not new. Well, not any newer than the team that is. Think of the primary driver of the economy in Vegas Steve. The Flamingo Hotel is one of the oldest, and most famous in town.

Victory flamingos have been thrown after a win in Vegas since our inaugural season. The fan who started the tradition chose a pink plastic lawn flamingo because it's a little bit kitschy & tacky like Vegas, but there's also the Flamingo Casino which is one of the oldest still there on the Strip. And also because of Flamingo Road which is near the Golden Knights' Arena.

I have a feeling that Steve Dangle might do another week of hat pick and dang-it just to finish the NHL playoffs and of course the Stanley Cup Finals run for both Vegas and Florida. I don't feel like he's gonna just leave it out without having some for game 3 & 4 and whatever it lasts whether 5 or 6 or even 7, who knows. Yeah, that second ejection for Tkachuk made zero sense to me. I'm a Sharks fan, I'm no stranger to controversial calls after hits in the playoffs, but that particular hit was clean as clean can be. Tkachuks hit on Eichel was not to the head, but this was entirely on Eichel, had he not reacted as quickly as he did it would have been head contact. Tkachuck would have taken his head off and wouldn’t have made that hit any different. He’s a goon and needs a reality check

What about when Kolesar checked Tkachuk so hard he ended up with a broken sternum. Hilarious how Tkachuk is trying to get Hague to hit him, Hague laughed, then Tkachuk pops him in the face, then gets a misconduct for acting like a douche, and Eichel toe picked into Tkachuks shoulder. I just find it hilarious how much in 1&2 Tkachuk was trying to get someone to hit him after the whistle, and ends up getting half of his bench misconduct. Barbachev ended up taking Gudas out, after he said that VGK fans were going to hate him. game 5 the Panthers bench were so docile and behaving themselves with Tkachuk acting like a tool.

As a football player, Radko Gudas put himself in a bad spot. Barbashev saw him coming,and lowered his shoulder to get ready for a hit. Gudas went in flat footed, and tried pulling off last second. Awful, awful mechanics. Headshots are terrivle for the game, I agree and no one wants them. But to give Barbashev a penalty for trucking a defender who essentially chickened out is the big dang it here.
