Where are the ugLy contenders? i mean, Every *** Car was Gorgeous! And i'm sure a few of the Cats might have a "fuLL ride", but for Pro Mod to have such tight racing w/ aLmost NO breakages is reaLLy impressive! Great Vid & TY!

good comment, but I'm one of those .90 thrittle stop guys. Ive raced all 3 classes, i forgo fuel on go to the stands to watch the .90 classes and pro stock, comp. elim. now top sprtsman too... go check the pits frank and see who buys all the trailer, rV'S, AND MORE EQIUPMENT, MOST OF US ARE THE .90 RACEERS@frank M.

good point Frank, and at least you get whats going on. The classes were designed to make all cars competitive regardless of how much money you spent. thus a small block vegas can race against a new chassis car and have a chance. But yes, the public doesnt understand whats going on. my point is that the sportman racers make up the majority of cars in the pits. without us@frank M.

This is why Drag Racing is die-ing. Look at the bodies on these cars, if you would take off the graphics you can't tell one from the other. Second the expense to run a car like this. off the charts. Yes it is fun to watch, when they can get the car to hook up. Fast and cool. My hero's growing up were the mechanics who worked at the dealerships. Worked on the drag car in the evenings and drove them on Sunday at the track. The money they had in the car was minimal. It was competitive, and these were all average Joe's who you could approach and they would have a conversation with you. Although it will never go back to that it is still a wish for me. And for those guys that still race that way, Love ya Brother, keep it alive and real.

He had built a twin hair dryer deal before but he couldn’t bring him self to race it because all the smack he talked about turbos. Now finally Steve Petty is standing behind his car . And when Erick and Steve stand behind cars they usually set record , win races ,and championships. I’m a bit partial to roots super chargers because I grew up around them but single and twin screw blowers are cool too like Drasie’s PSI or arts whipple ! Try not to be offended when you read lmao

Considering the turbo cars can have 540ci engines and if I’m not wrong 88mm turbos , why can’t they allow the blower cars to use the Screw blowers?? But if they did I doubt the turbo cars would be as competitive as they are now

Never happened & never will... I love them both but I love Prostock more ..... Promodified allow too much shit that replaces the driver.... All Promods are shifted electronically, in Prostock the driver must manually shift the 5 speed transmission.... I wish they made Promods have to be manually shifted 3 speeds.

You make a good point. HNRA Pro Stock has the same issue. 16 Camaros every week. (ok, 15 Camaros and one Dodge) I love Camaros but what about the peeps that don't ? I think the fans pull for the drivers/team now. Like the fuel classes, all the same cars just different colors. I root for the driver in Fuel, PM and PS - myself.
