Thanks for the video. I acquired some signals using Labview a while ago and saved them in a text file. Just realized that I need to do further processing like rms conversion, FFT and filtration. How can I create a VI that can read the values of the signal from the text file and display back in labview for further processing?

When you first start LabVIEW, which license type do you see in the upper left corner? You need at least the "Full" version because the "Base" version has limited functionality for reading and writing files.
