I really enjoyed this Friday night walk around the city, Christine! You did a great job showing all the wonderful sights of Niagara Falls and your video really showed the beauty of the area as the sun sets. Thanks for showing the Travelodge. That is the ONLY place I'll be staying at on my next visit, lol 😉 I also enjoyed the walk past the Rainforest Cafe and through the small arcade, past Hard Rock Cafe, and the Casino/old Maple Leaf Village entrance. I can't count how many times I walked that way between the Travelodge and Crowne Plaza this last trip, lol. So bummed about the Beer Garden and on pins and needles to hear what replaces it. Lol, scoring that tiki bar for your backyard would be epic. Have a great week!

I wanted to cover a lot of things this time around as summer comes to an end. Lol I’m sure you put in a lot of steps going back and fourth to your hotel. I wonder what will happen with he Beer Garden…I’m sure we’ll find out soon... I can dream about having the tiki bar lol. I noticed a few building notices as I walked of proposals for hotels. Yeah, it sure was a long walk. I thought about that while I was watching. I also thought I should walk around the larger area more while I'm in town. Walking can get tiring but it also gives you the chance to take in the sights more than quickly driving by in a car. I did notice the several building notices you zoomed in on during your walk. As you know, I try to watch all the Niagara Falls city council meetings here on youtube. It seems every meeting they approve some new high rise hotel/condo project and nothing happens. Or the developer starts digging the hole and then the project stalls. The big hole next to and behind the Dairy Queen at Ferry and Stanley is the latest perfect example. Have you heard anything about what the delay on that project is?

I lived in Niagara falls for 3 years from 1982 to 1985. i was teaching french as a second language at Niagara college in Welland. Loved living there, made many trips to toronto and buffalo, lots of chuckles at the Aquaduck, seen many bands there!!!

Our son was little at the time, all the restaurants were busy so we walked inside The Happy Wanderer. The place was empty and thought maybe it wasn’t a great idea but we were embarrassed to leave. So glad we stayed as it was absolutely delicious and visited several other times. We still talk about it.

I would like to make a suggestion, I enjoy all your videos, but your camera hardly moves from facing front the whole walk. Boring! Can you move your camera around sometimes and show us what you're walking past. Whether it be a full parking lot so we can see how full a motel is on a Friday evening or a lovely garden outside a commercial centre.
