Did you guys ever notice that a lot of people in the comment section seem to be proud to live in "harder" cities than those shown on Charlie's videos? Like, why is it a competition for so many people to prove they live in a shittier environment? Is it because the victim mentality has gotten so popular? Or are people just so proud of their home town that they're blinded by how shitty it is? Just an observation I've made.

I visited Niagara Falls and after walking around the entire park in a couple of hours and all the excitement had settled, I suddenly realized that there was actually nothing to do and nothibg to see appart from half empty stores with not good food and a bunch of empty souvenir shops. Then I decided to gead to the train station and get a return ticket back to NYC. I could have taken the bus but decided to walk instead. What a walk was that: empty neighborhoods, not fresh cars and lots of poorly maintained houses with some abandoned falling houses in between. All this while I was wandering to myself: What do these people do around here? The only businesses I noticed working was a hair shop, gas station, chinese spa center, some bars and a hotel. The train station was empty and the earliest one was the next day early morning. I got back to Niagara Park which by this tine looked like the only maintained place with some normal folks taking pictures and drinking coffees. Spent the remaining day there and at night took my bus to NYC.

The Canadian side of Niagara Falls is vibrant, fresher, newer, funner, safer, a great tourist destination with family entertainment, casinos, restaurants, hotels and the best view of the falls. At least our government spends on something that is going to benefit the citizens. Your goofball prez spends your tax paid dollars on building some stupid wall to keep out foreign women and children because of some misconception that they will hurt him---Ooohhh!!! instead of him dealing with your own unemployment, poverty, healthcare and the availability of human killing AK-47's and guns murdering your citizens every single fucking day of your fucking unsafe lives. Great Video,, its shows Niagara Falls for what it has become. A hole in the ground. But kids,, Niagara Falls when I grew up was a great town in the 50s and 60s. We had so many tourists from all around coming in from NYC and Buffalo. The Trains station was right at 3rd and Falls street. Than it was a short walk to the Falls. Side walks weren't large enough for all the tourist.So your town was once prosperous, at that time there was no ghetto, it seemed like every one had a job. But after a few large industrial plants went out of business and the trains left,,, shit went down hill. I feel privilege to remember those good years. Sorry you are stuck in NF. I left for Vegas...and they to have their hoods. From all the people who came here trying to make it rich are now on the streets. Vegas will eat you up,, and dont care where you land. I wish I had a Answer for NF,.... but it would take billions to clean that city up... and more to Clean up my Buffalo Bills. Lost the first preseason game today. New rookie QB,, every 4 years,, oh yea rebuilding years,, for the last 20 years,,,, still my home team for bad or good. Come on Bills get it together,,,, some day

I've driven around the Falls many times and you get a sense from the people that did they're depressed that there's no hope and it's a cycle of drugs and poverty. If there were more jobs let alone decent paying jobs I believe the city would be better off.

@raymondp.kotiiesq.59343 жыл бұрын
@@eaanyills I would not brag about any city in Upstate New York. Rochester is no longer the cherry on top of a sundae, but Buffalo never was. Rochester's achievement is largely based upon past accomplishments of major companies like Kodak which no longer exists in meaningful form and Xerox which has been heavily challenged by foreign competitors that offer less expensive and more reliable products (you don't need a service contract or a service man in your office every month for most Canon products). Bousch and Lomb moved its headquarters to New Jersey and many of the highest paid employees with it. Buffalo never had major fortune 1000 headquarters (only one I believe). Buffalo was known for the blood, sweet and tears that went into its blue collar industries. Now that the New World Order / Globalism is in full swing, Buffalo cannot claim much manufacturing prowess either.

Niagara Falls, NY has rough areas just like any other city in America, but there's also beautiful and clean neighborhoods there too. It's not really all that dangerous there as long as you keep your nose clean. At least not to me, because I grew up in Rochester. It is desolate due to losing half its population as a result of jobs moving out and the Love Canal disaster. Also, the powers that were had failed to capitalize more on tourism like Canada did. With that said, I still love Niagara Falls, NY and I'd live there if given the opportunity.
@DrFunky46 жыл бұрын
HybridNirvana97 yea ok... Niagara Falls NY is now statistically more dangerous than Buffalo and Rochester. You can Google it. Dudes come to Niagara falls and visit 101st street and think that's the hood. Spend some summers in the mid or on 19th street or highland ave then come back and tell me how "nice" you think it is...
@dark_lyrics_channel6 жыл бұрын
That's cute. Spend a few summer nights around Hudson and North Clinton Ave and then tell me how much more dangerous Niagara Falls is. And how about instead of complaining about it, do something to make it better. Clean up litter in your neighborhood, volunteer at a community center, be a good role model for people living in impoverished areas of Niagara Falls. If everyone stops giving a shit and accepts things the way they are, nothing will change.

I'd say that's a lot better than picking up a mop. What are you doing besides trying to make Niagara Falls sound like fucking South Central LA or some shit. Get real.

HybridNirvana97 and dusty ass Clinton ave represents the whole Rochester? Fuck outta here. As I said Google the shit yourself Niagara falls NY is officially the most dangerous city of new york state on the 2018 list. Google the shit yourself. And I was most dangerous in New York in either 2016 or 2017. Google it bitch

Public Service Announcement: keep in mind this was taken in the dead of winter no one comes outside in this shit no matter where you live. Come through on a summer night like Friday or Saturday you'll see people outside ect... plus this video is also missing falls street and highland ave. This is mostly the mid. Which get ACTIVE in the summertime. Especially around Whitney Ave and all them side blocks between like 13th and 22nd

I was shocked by how shitty the city of Niagara Falls was when I visited for a wedding. Clevelands little brother Buffalo not much better.
@robertpreskop44256 жыл бұрын
anonymous b Buffalo is nowhere near as bad as either Niagara Falls or Cleveland with the exception of its east side. I know because I live in Buffalo.

@@robertpreskop4425 wtf are you talking about, Buffalo averages over 50 homicides a year, NF has less then 10 a year
@robertpreskop44255 жыл бұрын
@@dparker716 dude you dont know what the hell you are talking about. The homicide rate in Buffalo has been going down for the past five years.
@dparker7165 жыл бұрын
@@robertpreskop4425 ok and where did I say it wasn't? I said it averages 50 homicides a year while NF doesnt even reach 10 are you slow? And it bounces up and down just like every city 2 years ago it spiked then drops, in the 90's it was over 80 homicides per year on average so ya it's down since then but that's beside the point I'm making right now comparing Buffalo and Niagara Falls

Grew up in niagara falls NY joined the navy to see the world and to serve my country. Even though its a dump there is some of the nicest people in the state of NY here. If you ever decide to see the falls you can eat at a little diner called "the Why" all the food is great and no more then 6$ and the owners make plently of donatations to the local homeless shelter in the area. Plus it has a great staff and you can talk to the locals who are so friendly! Never judge a book by its cover.

Hey Charlie, although these types of videos are great, I think it would be a good change for you to drive to some of the latino/hispanic hoods across the country. Keep up the good work.
@York226 жыл бұрын
Nick Pannerz he probably has already in some videos. Some of the cities he’s done have large Hispanic/Latino population
@CharlieBo3136 жыл бұрын
I have videos of Hispanic and Latino hoods in Detroit. Also in Philadelphia. I may try to do some in Chicago. I'm black and black neighborhoods are the ones people mostly request because our are the most entertaining and interesting lol.
@robertpreskop44256 жыл бұрын
Do El Paso, Tucson, Phoenix, and Las Vegas. I am more than sure that those four western cities have very authentic Latino hoods.

Cool, I actually visited here about a month ago. The whole area was desolate; I felt like the only one in the city both day and night. If you ignore the cold, it is the best time of year to see the falls.

Been there. As with a lot of cities, they keep their waterfront looking nice. But you don't have to go far away from it before it doesn't look so pretty.

I've been here recently and this is how glum Niagara Falls is. The population has declined from about 102,000 to +/- 50,000 in 2017. The only econmy is tourism but many are opting for Ontario. Needless to say, it's dangerous and the economy sucks.

You should do a video on the Canadian side. It’s not nearly as worse but there is still some trashy areas.

@robertpreskop44256 жыл бұрын
constructivist6 unfortunately we lost a lot of beautiful historic commercial blocks to careless urban renewal in the 60s and 70s. Urban renewal destroyed and bankrupted Niagara Falls.

Niagara Falls had much more active aeronautic and chemical processing companies in the area long ago - hundreds of even thousands of people gone each year for how long now? I remember Niagara Falls neighborhoods back in the 70's were so much better looking and less depressing.

Should have called this Niagara Falls NY "Hood." Just one. Because it doesn't really step out into NF NY enough to be truly representative of the place. There's no Deveaux, Cayuga Island, or LaSalle. There are some nice parts of Niagara Falls, just like in every city, and some bad parts too. Just like in every city.

I'm not familiar with that place at all. I was there for a short time and didn't have time to look up streets, so I just randomly recorded, and cut out certain parts to shorten the video. I also have some night time footage, but it's not much going on so I doubt Iwill post it. Northern places are always quieter in winter. I;ll be coming back to do more videos there.
