Niall, I said i was going to get back to you. I am also a new fan and 76 yr old. I am a Baby boomer who is getting older and I am hooked on 1D and 1D solo guys. You are all Angels. Baby boomers were always trendsetters. So give us a chance. As for me I know I love all of 1D boy band and looked into history. I learned of Harry first through As It Was song and just loved it among many other things about Harry which made me look into 1D history. I recently looked into your album The Show. I love it. All the songs are great. You are a great songwriter. Heaven is the first song I heard of you solo and loved it which made me look into your other songs. I left comments on all your songs. You are so sweet, handsome and talented. I just want you to know you are and all of 1D are dear in my heart. I appreciate good music. Do you know how happy I am hearing he wants a long, sustained career? That’s exactly what I want for and from Niall. He is so honest and thoughtful and smart. His songs touch my heart and make me feel. He can’t go away, at least not any time soon. I worry that the fame and pace is hard and that he’ll want to fade away and just live a quiet life, so it’s wonderful to hear that he wants a long career. I worry the same for Harry, because he can’t go away, either. They share themselves with us through their music and we spend time with them, through their songs. And it would break my heart if either went away, like 1D did. We may never have them back together, but I cherish them separately.

I am a 68 great grandmother. I have been absolutely captivated by Niall before his 1st season of the voice was halfway dome Obviously I don't know him, but he has a light that shines thru. Without a doubt he has a good head on his shoulders ,he's honest, Self aware abd talented. Gratitude is what comes through with Niall, which shows how much he has grown from boy to man. It had to be a challenge coming off the back of OneD and the fame that came with it, and to cut through all that and build a solo career that is meaningful and authentic…and very humble. Niall has achieved it in a thoughtful and considered manner. He may have young fans but I’ve noticed there’s a lot of us more mature ones, too! 🇳🇿🇳🇿🐑🐑NZ I wrote this before they discussed longevity but I do believe Niall will carry his fans with him because we admire his honesty and the friendships he has with others. It speaks volumes about where his heart stem from.

Niall was and Is the most charismatic, smiley, happy of the boys from 1D, he was from appearances always the most optimistic. The thing about turning 30 it seems to be for almost everyone a HUGE tipping point in the maturity process. MOST people feel that not only am I no longer a child, but my youth is pretty much on the other side of a fence. 30 is when most people feel that they are a fully mature adult, and realize that they are at the PRIME of life, and that they have about 3 or 4 decades to set up there retirement, and using those years after those 3 or 4 decades to enjoy life, and relax, and take time to do what you WANT to do, and not so much what you need or have to do. 30 truly is a magic, yet important birthday. YOU DEFINITELY begin to see life differently on that day.

Indeed a lot of personal growth and experience certainly does happen between 25yr to 30yrs, I recall that too. However another important part is when one has a child or two or more as a family member is added into your life as well. "God only knows ...." chorus from Heaven sounds a bit like The Beach Boys. Harry Styles song "She" begins like Pink Floyd and then it's Beatles all the way. I love that the influences of the great sounds of the past filter down to artists like Niall and Harry. Both are so talented in their own right. I love Niall's music. And on my next trip to Ireland (my fourth) I'm going to stop and have a look at Mullingar !!
