Nah, why do Hmong always blame it on ghost, dragons, voodoo (khaws koob), npam, hmoov and debt from a past life. No. She could had easily left him for good, even now, but she didn't and won't because like most Hmong women, can't live without a husband. Most Hmong women would rather have an abusive husband than no husband. I get so upset at these OG women who think they should just settle because it’s the way of life and they are comfortable/scared of change.
