..........Tus sister, sorry for what you went through. Glad you came out strong, inspiration, willed woman. Some parents are bad but most parents are good. I'm not a Christian or go to church. But I'm glad you went to church. God is the answer for some people ans you're one of them. Some Hmong people or OGs still have the same behaviors like back in Laos, torture orphans and heartless towards orphans children. But know that these OGs are phasing out and dying out. But we must remember that some genes are left behind. So we must learn, take care each and love each other when it comes to an unfortunate person, orphans or like yourself and siblings. Dear sister, I listened to your story and I cried for you and your siblings. I lost a bother suddenly also so I know what the meaning of loss from your stand point. I was like you too, I not only grieved like a sister but I grieved like a mother also. I helped take care of my siblings since young so when he died, a part of me died twice. I understand how it is to starve, your grief and desperation going through life as a Hmong in our community where everyone turned you away. Go no contact and act like they are all dead to you. This story made me incredibly sad, especially that your baby brother had such an ending. I am the oldest of 6 kids too and my parents were just like yours. My mom was very abusive and my dad enabled her, together they were toxic and just hated us. Being the oldest, was and is still so hard. I sometimes thought that there were no other siblings out there like my siblings and I. Thank you for sharing your story, I am not alone.
