I agree, the original pokemon games had male and female avatars and were customizable too. There was no need for niantic to go further than that. What they have done is not what a pokemon game would ever do. TPCI should step in the development of the game to fix it real this time. The game is just losing players since 2018, niantic should atleast listen to its players.

Not surprised. As a person who has played since 2016 and no longer buys anything except GO Fest tickets, Niantic has ALWAYS been garbage. The CEO and upper management have a specific agenda, not just with these avatars but other things too. I actually like your suggestion for how the Pokemon GO avatar update should have been instead we got crap. I do agree that this is a destruction of the minds of kids. I think TPC should be putting pressure on Niantic to fix the issue. There are more important issues that need to happen like being able to buy Great and Ultra Balls with Poke Coins once you unlock them in game and being able to buy 1 Master Ball for 10 USD every 30 days.

I'm not investing my time and money to something that gets ZERO input from either players or testers. All of the female characters have broad shoulders and long limbs, and all of the boy characters have child-bearing hips. I think kids are smarter than people give them credit for,. I was reading a book about warrior women and the writer talked about the aftermath of a battle where the adults were having problems with identifying some soldiers cause they were women dressed as men (it was the only way the women could fight at that time) but there were children there and they did not seem to be confused as to if someone was a man or a woman dressed as a man.

They do it every year since covid. We had home incense and long cds until 2022. Now its nerfed incense and 3 hour cds. Yes thd 5-10 raids are ok if u got friends or another acc. 2023 nerfed remotes so they lose more money. 2024 make avatars awful. Its like every year they wanna turn community against them

I'm gradually shipping all of my shiny legends to my switch. I've stopped playing community days and pvp. If a woke group of degenerates destroys something you care about, it's no longer an irrational "dislike" of something, it becomes a rational "dislike" of something. I don't think I fit in with all of you that have been playing for years. Granted, I'm an old stale fart 😉. I've only been playing for barely 4 months now. Glad this is happening now (for me) than months or years down the road. I've spent $$ but not so much at this point in a game. Being turned into a prepubescent eleventeen yo boy slowed my grind. I don't even have gifts to send friends. Plus the game has started freezing up on the reg. I was really starting to grind, spend a lil $, get involved, having friends from around this Big Rock. Not sure if I'm lvl 33 or 34 but I feel as if I've already won against this game. I can go back to bittboy 🤣. 😇✌️
