you should be able to use a regular TM during community days to get the move on a pokémon you already evolved. similarly, if there is a shadow pokemon still with frustration and you add a second move and evolve during a CD, the move should be given in that second move slot

By not allowing you to TM previously evolved Pokémon, it incentivizes people to go out in order to build more of the same Pokémon. Agree with you Dan. I think the aspect Niantic is missing, is that remote raiders enable in person players to raid. Legendary raids need more than one player and we aren’t allowed to have multiple accounts, so you need more people. We cant always gather a group of people to go raiding in person, so we need remote raiders to help out. If they support remote raiding it will enable more players to go out and raid in person knowing that they’ll have people to help them win the raid. I know I have done significantly less raids since the remote raid nerf.

Remote raids don't help them gather data. It's important to remember that the primary purpose of all Niantic products is AI model training, spacial mapping, and user data collection. Every decision is in service of advancing that goal.

Dynamax kinda reminds me of those MMO games. Healer, Tank, DPS. So, how cool would it be to have 'dungeons'? You gather a party and walk a certain route with your friends, and along the route you encounter 'bosses', maybe like really difficult rocket leaders you gotta beat with teamwork. And at the end of the route you fight the final boss and get rewarded with something cool. I dunno, just a random thought I had a while ago.

Thanks for the video! I'd suggest two things: 1. Offer the possibility to opt for simplified, non animated backgrounds. It slows down PvP animations and provokes lags. 2. Accelerating several parts of the game. Opening and sending gifts, dynamax... the animations are soool long, you'd like to do these things way quicker. Not even talking about the terrible length of pokemon capture, as there's that fast catching technique.

The funny part is that there is a functional way to skip both opening and closing gift animations (tap the space where the x button was) - there's all these little work arounds that experienced players know and use. Not sure of if you know about it. There is a lot faster way to do gifts. As soon as you click on the gift, fast click on the x at the bottom and it still gives you the items and you don’t have to watch the animation. Same for sending gifts.

I have no issue on previewing features/elements to the game as a trial/demo paired with an announcement. As long as the announcement confirms they will implement/improve on it based on real community feedback/data. Then again, that's something Niantic regularly fails at. Don't add it at all if it will be eliminated/worsened is the best view imo

The problem with the in raid feature is that unlike invites you can’t re-enter when/of the game crashes. I lost about 10 remote passes attempting to use this feature. Need to fix the crashing issues before implementing this system full time imo

I stopped using the feature after the game crashed before the raid boss encounter and couldn't re-enter the same raid, losing the remote raid pass. It shows that Niantic didn't think this part through (again). Niantic just needs to do things better rather than emptying the players pockets first and making up excuses of poor connection.

I love this!! We need more content creators bringing awareness to Niantics terrible Decision making. I play this game because i love pokemon. Iv played most an still own some main series games. I was one of the lucky ones who got to Beta test Pogo. I was thrilled and excited to see what this game could become. We've come so far an had lots of great changes like you mentioned in your video but im absolutely disgusted by Niantics shenanigans over the years. I feel like they have strayed off their path to make everyone happy, accessible. inclusion ect. How did Niantic go from listening to the community to everything being about a paid ticket? I enjoyed the feature, though I didn't use it actively very much. If I want to remote raid I tend to either coordinate with folks on campfire I know, or use pokegenie. Still, was a good feature and I look forward to it returning someday. Hopefully with fewer bugs. I'd like raids and such to keep going later into the evening. I work during the day, then have other activities after work(try and get out for spotlight hours if the spawns or bonus are great). My usual evening pokemon go walk is typically starting close to 9:00. Doesn't give me much opportunity to raid a lot of stuff. I'm not fully sure why rocket grunts continue to be available, but leaders hide after 10, but leaders will show up from balloons. Quit being shy Arlo! Lucky friends with someone? No distance required to trade. That'd encourage folks to do way more gifting. Nothing worse as someone from Canada than hitting lucky friends with someone from India or whatnot and having no chance of ever actually making that trade. I like the game, but I'm not flying to the far side of the world to do a trade. I get them wanting us to need to grind for TMs. I do. So not making them be able to choose a specific move like elite TM(just without the elite moves)... It's understandable even if I don't love it. But I spent *16* fast TMs tonight to get shadow claw on my new feraligator. Bite, ice fang, bite, ice fang, bite, ice fang, waterfall, bite... I walk a lot of routes so it doesn't matter, but... ffs, at least make it so that the move can't be what it just was. Give us a slightly better chance of not just seeing things flip back and forth. Hope the conference is fun, interesting, insightful, life-affirming and with a decent lunch provided!

As much as I liked being able to join random raids from people on my friends list, I also hated the fact that the game would crash and close after a raid battle before the legend encounter. On an invite, I could open up the game and the invite would still be there allowing me to get back into the encounter. But on a raid direct from my friends list gave me no such option. This made it way too risky to join raids like this because I didn’t want constantly be making support tickets because of this… I loved this feature but I hope that if it comes back (and hopefully it does asap) that they fix all of the raid crashes or come up with a solution so that if the game closes you can get back into the raid/encounter

People often complain about legendaries not being in weekly research breakthroughs, being a level 15 legendary that were potentially great league eligible was great. I believe with legendary encounter rewards for the GBL being as rare as they are now, they could improve GBL participation by making these encounter level 15.

The remote raid nerf does make sense for them from a business standpoint. They make way more from selling your data from you being at the gym/pokestop in person than they ever would selling remote raid passes. Doesn't even compare at all.

I love to play master league, its by far the most fun league however it is a grind to be able to get these pokemon. I think reducing the XL convert cost is good, however I would only reduce it to 75 or 50 candies. I would much rather see rare XL candy be more available. Regular rare candies are so common in raids, I think rare xl should at least have 1-2 guaranteed for in person 5 star raids, with a variable range and give out more during events or I would even adda small amount of xl candy to the rewards of remote passes (just 1 would make a difference) and to be fair, add 1 more to in person raids. As for other general suggestions for niantic, a big one would be an overhaul of how the tms work especially now that pokemons have a deeper move pool than before. Best case, it would be nice if they functioned like elite tms do where you can choose which move you want, except you cant choose any legacy moves. Id even take the random chance if they cycled the changed moves, ie if a pokemon had a move pool of 5 moves you would use at most 4 tms to get the move you wanted and 3 for the second slot. I wish the rocket events would happen more frequently if only to change up the grunt lineups besides the frustration removal(I wish we could use elite tms). I also wish we could Dynamax our existing pokemon. Requiring us to go out and refarm pokemon we already had is a bit of a slap in the face. Thats why I haven't bothered to use any stardust on them. Its been a while since anyone has talked about this but the avatars still look awful. I really wish they would change them back.

coordinating remote raids is for people who are at work, in the hospital or what have ya, for the average player it's friends in the area that aren't quite in range or PvP folks from all over the world in Discords haha. So yeah, we had a lovely option/function--they dangle the carrot, we bit and they take it away... wait for a $50 paid ticket per player to "unlock" that ability with a floor of 10 million trainers lol... it's not beyond Niantic to do that

I was gonna start coining the phrase "grapevine raiding" and hope it got picked up by the pogo community. Like "I just grapevined a raid from my friend and my other friend grapevined it from me" It sounded like the perfect thing to call it because that's essentially exactly what it was 😅. I was SUPER bummed out when I realized it wasn't permanent. It was one of the single most convenient features they've ever had for raiding to the point that it almost made up for them nerfing is to 5 remote raids a day. Its crazy to me how stingey Niantic is on rewards. This event had you catching 10 electric or 10 poison types for 300 xp or 100 stardust. Most of the research tasks were worthless as well. Like why werent there any rewards for the Go balls. I got pretty lucky getting them at spins, but my friend found like 3 at max and could barely catch any Mighty Pokemon. I get its a free game, and they have to make money somehow, but the level they take it to is just absurd.

The lack of tms especially elite tms, lack of stardust and candy/xl candy to max out pokemon, lack of pvp leagues playable at once, no free remote raid passes so disabled people can't raid more and loyal players can't get a daily free raid without having to travel for it, lack of special trades, lack of days to evolve and use normal non charged tms to get rare movesets half the pokemon aren't usable in pvp, the lack of positive changes for a better gaming experience is just a shame the store is the most important part of the game for niantic

here's the 'problem' with taking away the 'remoting off a friends list'- Niantic still limited the amount of remote raids you can do so even if they kept the feature you can't just sit there all day spamming your 300 friends who actually go outside. its infuriating to remove the feature because, the feature tips heavily in the favor of casual players who might be sitting on one pass and get invites at the worst possible times or, are out of coins. it encouraging them to work for coins because they actually have a better chance of actually doing a remote raid. and, there is basically no means of abusing the feature. GBL really needs a sandbox/freeplay mode. and Dyna/gigantamax raids need a button where you can select the role of healer/attacker/shielder bc NOBODY is doing that in person.

In person raids in rural areas are dead lol, we have like 4 gyms around our village, all had palkia dialga and primal duo gmax toxtricity, not one gym had anyone in the whole of the wild area, 2 days, the game is just so grindy, they want u to do gmax but have to have dmax but want to build things to raid, just put an item in the shop that I can give the Pokémon I already have for dmax/gmax, mighty were good but not a great pool.

Steranka (one of the leading directors) has flat out said in multiple interviews that they genuinely do not really consider rural players much at all, and he basically says it’s unfortunately not the right kind of game for those players. Once I heard him say that, I dropped the game and have never looked back. If you’re a rural player, you might as well just stop playing, because the lead director himself has gone on record saying they don’t care.

Niantic has the backwards philosophy of FORCING players to go out instead of ENCOURAGING, as you mentioned in the video. Instead of offering more perks that incentive public raiding or walking around, they choose to nerf everything else into the ground so that players have no choice but to settle for what we have or stop playing. It is definitely a very scummy and strange design philosophy that I’ve honestly never seen done as often as Niantic does it. They almost always seem to prioritize the stick over the carrot, and put a lot of effort into pushing the limits of what they can get away with before it causes a significant enough backlash. People often joke about how Niantic hates their playerbase and make changes simply out of spite but honestly the more time goes on it seems like less of a joke and more of a reality lol.

You answered your own question. More remote raid passes means less walking, which means less data to collect and sell. Niantic can have an agreement with a large company like Starbucks to sell them the data of how many players visit their stores, for how long, what ages they are, which ones use the WiFi and which ones use cell data, what days have more visitors and what stores get more time on each. That is their primary goal.

@ for the IVs, to improve your Attack stat you would need to Attack a significant amount of gyms, to improve your Defence you’d need Defend gyms for a significant period of time and to improve your Stamina you’d need to walk a significant amount. I’d suggest capping the buff to a maximise of two levels though - so you could prove your 11 Defence to a maximum of 13, but no higher.

How long we had talk about the bus Topic of Niantic Been Able To Make The Game Better And Bug Free!????? From Day One!!! When the Servers Broke Down ( supposedly) am they decided to divide the players into Day/Night Game Play Without Asking! lol This is just one of many things that they have hidden in the game that we don’t know about bc they took down the people who Date-mine the game for info!!!! We are swimming in the dark with this game am that’s the way they like it!
