Nic Cage vs Freddy Fazbear - Willy's Wonderland Review (A Modern Masterpiece)

Hey guys I'm back with another movie review. Today I'll be reviewing Willy's Wonderland an action horror flick starring Nicolas Cage. And I am a HUGE Nic Cage fan and was excited to watch and review this film. Is it good, bad, or so bad it's good? Let's watch and find out.

Not much discussion here but I personally wasn't satisfied with the movie. I already find Nick to be a bit samey with his various movie roles and this is no different. No real characterization/personality for the anims is another downer. They could've at least taken a cue from FNAF in that area. No cool jump scares or any real challenge in the fights; Nick never gets challenged. I find that characterization to be particularly annoying in an action-based movie. That means there are no real stakes, no sense of danger. The whole affair really just felt empty to me. I can respect all the positive angles you gave it but I just don't agree. I DO like the idea of the movie but not the execution. I haven't seen it since the first time and I don't have any motivation to see it again.
