I see why this is kinda underused. It's got a lot of drawbacks. • The rockets are great against planes but not at all verstatile, as they: - travel super slow, have got quite a big spread, take a while to reload - are terrible against infy and heavily armored vehicles. • The third accessory is not nearly as useful as others such as: flares, spotting eye thingy or autorepair. Then again one could make the point that trench fighter's darts are not very versatile either, but they are possibly the greatest way at taking out infy (also reload fairly quick) so that kind of makes up for it.

I started playing with the trench fighter with the "darts" because of you and now i love it! In each game with that plane, i'm always doing atleast 70 kills with it. And btw nice vid as always (i prefer live commentary than the others, but if you want to do the others it's okay)

The auto repair is pretty useful and it does have a scope, but theres really no point other than that. I think that the MMGs should be upgraded to HMGs.

The only situation I choose dogfighter is when there are at least two good fighter pilots on the other team and my team is struggling in air combat. The emergency repair dramatically increase your survivability in 1v2, even 1v3 dogfight situations. Other than that, it's pretty useless for your team.

The moment when people say it should be nerfed, yet it doesn't. This load out sacrifices ground target capability for air superiority. Even then if you're up against a half decent pilot such as me, you will have great difficulty staying alive. In my opinion there are 3 main rules to using a fighter. 1: always have the height advantage if you can. 2: always know what you're fighting. 3: the rule of 93 which basically means you can engage anything, even anti air emplacements with 93 health. Generally anti air emplacements can only deal 90 damage to you before you take them out. I think the biggest noob move in dogfights is turning sideways when you know someone is behind you. You should always try spiral and pull vertically up or down, depending on the load out you are up against. You should only ever turn sideways if you are turning into an enemy that you know you can beat in that spiral. If there's any doubt in your mind that you might lose you should simply spiral out of it and turn it into a vertical spin. Because you will more than likely be the first one to pull up or down, you automatically put yourself at an advantage as long as the other pilot isn't dead on your tail. Lastly a warning if you use a skin that's not commonly used. You can easily put a target on your back. This can be good or bad depending on how you fly. I personally enjoy having everyone trying to kill me half way through a round but you should always keep in mind where the anti air emplacements are, and what planes you just fought. I play on PS4 so this strategy may differ.

I think the kit should be buffed a bit when it comes to air to ground combat. Maybe something as simple as more map/building destruction. You know, like if you unload all your rockets into a building it should do some real damage to the structure. Or possibly more ground vehicle damage. I feel like nobody ever uses this one unless an airship is up.

Hacksi yes, but this is a video game. Not real life. It's a seldom used plane. I can't even remember the last time I was even shot at by rockets in a plane. I fly planes a whole bunch as well. I'm not saying buff it a bunch. Just give it some other pros to using it.

Russell Windsor as the video shows the rockets are great against planes. It's up to the community to realise that, rather than the devs buffing it because players dont know how to use it. The fighter shouldnt be an effective ground attacker, what would be the point of the attacker?

Naccaman, you can actually do significant damage to AA trucks with the attack planes main gun. If you lined it up right you probably could have done ~40 damage per pass between the main gun and the rockets. EDIT: The attack plane's main gun is also very good against infantry.

I use the same tactics and loadout, I think it's devastating. Really powerful and the speed is the key, I fight like Von Richtofen trying to stay high in the sky and then fall like an eagle on the enemy and load his butt with 8 rockets!

The bomber killer is amazing at taking out light tanks and artillery trucks, if you land all rockets it's over 40 damage with one run, then you can use the machine guns splash damage to kill infantry

I go back to basics when flying, loops and tight rolls give the enemy time to line up the shot but if you go back to basics you keep them guessing where you'll turn

Just got a 50-2 with the bomber killer. 2 deaths were from crashing, which is stupid because my landing gear bounced me off the ground, yet my plane blew up. Ended up with a 38 kill streak. Killed about 5 AA gunners too.

when you shooting rocket use it First person view. your rocket get more accuracy. rocket are go straight but has some angle because they are on edge of wing. 3rd pesron view doesn't have accuracy compensation. but first person view has compensation with rocket(it's go straight middle of aim with more angle). sorry about my poor english. i hope you understand

Probably one of the BEST ground killing loadout for the fighter plane is the trench fighter...well, and the name explains everything, I've gotten a multi kill with 5 kills in one run with the trench fighter, it's a super effective loadout, only takes 2 or even 1 dart to kill 1 infantry, it depends on where you drop the darts.

i often use the attack plane for ground attacks...I think it´s the best one. I only switching to a fighter if there are annoying pilots at the enemy team. However...sometimes I have enemies behind me with the bomberkiller setup - often I still can get them down by seat switching and firing them with tha back defense mg. The only way why I notice tzhem is often due to they announce themselves from larger distances by firing me with their primary gun and not with the rockets. I think thats the biggest mistake a fighter pilot can do...if the attack pilot is noticing the fighter early and switches, the chance to be killed is very high for the fighter

I play this on PS4 and I don't see any differences between PC and console but 1 thing, it seems that on PC it's way easier to kill and move around. And the curser on PC is more steady

the worst thing about battlefield is when you can't get good at using the planes because there are god like players in every game (for me at least) using planes and constantly killing me, and i'll never know how good I am because I can never go up against anyone at my level of noobiness

Very fun little build but I can't help but notice you basically are playing your own game with it. You dominate the air but have little to no effect on the ground or what is going on down there. It's almost like being a pilot means your playing a game of Ace Combat or something while every one else is playing battlefield. Sure you got 27 kills but most of the pilots seemed to be rubbish and wouldn't of affected the ground forces to much. Not sure what to do about it though because if the Bomber killer did become better at ground targets it would be completely broken and every one would use it. One thing I think would be neat is some kind of support plane. Able to do air drops of ammo or medical supplies over friendly troops would be fun. If it already exist I can't say I've ever seen one at work.

Don't use attack planes for dogfights Unless you are using the Airship buster it's basically made for AA
