Great video, thanks. Is there a keyboard shortcut to switch out of the native client (on Windows or Mac) over to a local desktop application? I couldn't find anything in the docs about that.

Nice video - do you support or plan to support hibernation of ubuntu image?
@nispgmbh47502 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! When data has been loaded into the GPU during hibernation the information will get lost and when the instance is started again the software relying on/expecting data stored in the GPU will not work anymore. Hibernation could work for non-GPU instances. Would that be interesting as well?
@jesper8s8karlsen2 жыл бұрын
@@nispgmbh4750 yes, I don't need GPU. Thanks a lot!

@@jesper8s8karlsen Hibernation for our AMIs without GPUs works great as you have tested successfully as well. Thank you very much for confirming!

thanks for the amazing tutorial, just a question: how many IPv4/IPv6 adresses are allowed for each network interface using a g4dn or g5dn instance with NISP ?
@nispgmbh4750 Жыл бұрын
It should be many enough - there should not be any limit impacting the usage and should only be limited by the nr of addresses the kernel and AWS supports.

Nice video.. very well explained.. just wanted to confirm if we need to install Nvidia GPU driver once the instance is setup or is it preinstalled during instance creation?
@nispgmbh47503 жыл бұрын
Hi Atul, thank you very much for your comment! The GPU driver will not be automatically installed. You can have a look at our installation guides for step-by-step instructions which you can find here: www.ni-sp.com/technical-guides-and-articles-around-nice-dcv-and-enginframe/

Is there a way that this is available in Azure right off the bat? Some companies are heavy into Azure and this component is missing there :(
@nispgmbh4750 Жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for your comment! You can run DCV on any platform and benefit from the great performance. At the moment there is not preinstalled image, ... available on Azure. On Windows the installation is just a few clicks. The downlad at download.nice-dcv.com/ includes a 30 days trial license.
