at birdlike.ch it is the Moyes importer for Switzerland. You have to find out about it at home! I made it myself at the time, but I quit. Ask him, he speaks very good english

Why did you choose the gecko over the Icaro orbiter or Ww s3?

I had a sty+M (French orbiter) the trapeze was too big for me! the S3 has a less good glide. The Moyes is easier to land and has a better finish.

I think the gecko is 1/2 class higher than the s3 and faster but still a mast wing.

Very, very good question! Which I would have trouble answering! In Switzerland there must be 2500 hang-glider patents. And Switzerland is not big! Just in my club there are 54 but only 20 who fly regularly! In the last few years, the fsvl (swiss free flight federation) is doing a lot of promotion for hang-gliding. And it works! With the new wings that are coming out now, a lot of old hanggliders are starting to fly again, and there are a lot of young people starting!! Even some paragliders are starting to hang gliding. In Europe, however, I have the impression that WW is losing a little bit of his walking skills! Many expected more from the S3. I know that they have made an improvement on the 2020 version! So let's wait and see!

C'est Luy thanks for the detailed response. That’s great to hear hg is thriving in your country. USA only 3k pilots, likely most in California and Florida. What is attracting PG pilots back to HG in Europe? The performance of pg seems to be good enough ... so what’s the advantage of HG in their view?
