This is how I saw it when I watched it (I’m a girl). So many women will go after guys that treat them like garbage, and they usually stay when everyone else can see how toxic the relationship is. It’s never worth staying with someone because of how long you’ve been with them if they don’t want to change to be better. There is just something magical about the first 5 years of KZbin as it really felt like my own personal cult or fandom I belong. Yeah this is when the phrase "1 Millions Subscribers" was just an internet wet dream back in those days. We were all a tight knit community from 2005 to 2012 and everything started to fall apart from there. When I was a young young kid watching this music video, I LOVED the twist. It really helped stamp out any chance of me ever giving into the so-called pressure to be a jerk. Because I almost gave into the idea of "nice guys finish last." I thought that, in order to find friends, and a girlfriend, and gain respect, I'd need to ditch my kindheartedness, and it nearly ruined who I was. I remember watchin this as a kid I was hella bullied and got rejected every time. I was overweight as hell. I took the video as girls don’t want a nice guy, they want an asshole. Then it worked, I worked out got into shape, after messing around for yrs I meet a girl I thought I actually liked, i fucked it up by being a complete dumbass and fighting someone right before high school graduation and got arrested. She stood by me so much that I didn’t blame her when she left me. I joined the Army right after hopefully to show her I made something of myself, but something’s just aren’t meant to be.
