Loving the playthrough. I don't mind how long it takes, TR can be a very hard game at times. In TR1 I can remember it taking me over an hour to go through the Cistern sometimes. I asked my dad why he didn't like TR2 much and he said it was because you weren't in tombs much and after playing TR1 he would have liked it to have more tombs. He also didn't like the story much. Due to that he never bought TR3. There was quite a few things in this level that I thought looked familiar which was surprising as some parts of the level I could not remember at all. The room that was behind the door with the symbol on it at the start of the level, the room with the peeling wallpaper and the room with the chandeliers were familiar. Also at the end that swinging crate I remember and that is the level where I have my one vivid memory of this game. Looking forward to the next episode.

The wallpapers and chandeliers look so good! I like how they gave the chandeliers a square frame to go with the tile-based level design. Is it just me, or does it sound like the pipe-wielding goons cry out for RuPaul when they die? 😂😂

Hey Mage, if you click in on both the left and right sticks at the same time, you can activate camera mode, you can move the camera around freely and pose Lara in different poses and outfits, it's pretty nice for making little snapshots. You can also move Lara around if you hold the R2 button and use the sticks.

Glad to see some love for this level, its my favorite of all the games. And the chandelier room is probably my favorite individual location in Tomb Raider, including the variation of the theme that's only played there. I hink this level is great because it contains all the typical features of a classic Tomb Raider level, but without gimmicks or giant set pieces, and is sandwiched between two more memorable levels. Would be the perfect level to create a demo disc of for TR2, along with Living Quarters and Catacombs of the Talion.

Im already so excited to see how this game progresses. I just could never do it as a kid, and even as an adult! Im hoping you dont press Load instead of Save! You did it loads in TR1! Bring it on Mage, cant wait for this series! Also, just saw a youtube video to remaster of TR 4-6!!!???

Never played a Tomb Raider game ever in my life, but the remastered graphics look really nice. Definitely be watching all the episodes just like your previous Tomb Raider 1 playthrough

May I suggest you rename yourself to : Scuffmaster23"? 11:16 You can actually get on the ladder by jumping up from below. You don't even have to get onto that balcony at all. 14:47 I've never seen this glitch before, and I lost count on how many LPs I've seen. heck, even when I played it myself, back when I still had a functioning Playstation, I never experienced this. 19:00 Roll off the edge of the canopy, then prees and hold action to land on the ledge below. you can also jump from the door by holding action after you jump, but you take some damage doing so. 21L38 The switch is in the wall to the right of the doorway you're looking at. It's extremely hard to see, even in the OG graphics. 25:54 You could have just jumped to to the right, into the water and not take _any_ damage at all. 41:49 "Any more rats up here?" Yes, a very BIG one. 1:01:20 You really, *really* want what's behind that wall. I advise you to go back and find it.

Okay, I promise not to mention your epic fail 20 minutes in lol As for trophies there is one I got on the first game, but not on 2 or 3. I don’t see how when the enemies get massively stronger, and their accuracy is so good. Use only your pistols through the entire game. I made it near the end on this one, but I needed more than my pistols on those enemies. In 3, the pistols didn’t cut it right off the bat. Also I do remember a trophy of destroying all the windows with their symbols. A hammer if memory serves me correctly

That music in the chandelier room is masterful 🤌🏻 I never did anything in that room until the music had finished. Such a shame it's so short. You're only rewarded with items once you get all 3 secrets, so you don't have to worry about missing one dragon if you haven't gotten either of the other 2. The boathouse is climbable. You have to stand on the wall and go to the white protruding bit and you can't jump onto the boathouse roof from there. I won't spoil it, but it's worth the trip.

They actually updated the GTA trilogy, so it's a little bit better. Still not great though but it's better than it was at launch.

I completely agree about GTA remasters collection they look horrible. I would love to get vice city on switch to play at work but I can’t stand that new look.
