You got some nice gems in that $25. I like the wood handle bevels and the metal squares. The wood handle screwdrivers I always like. The best little gem is the small machinist vice. If I see an old machinist vice with the industrial Grey I have to pick them up. Grey is usually from 1930s or 40s and they always remind me of my dad who was a machinist. ❤

That leather handle knife is exactly like the one I have and it's a Boy Scout knife from the 50's.

What a great tool haul! This is why we keep up the hunt! But it makes it really had to pay antique store prices when you know sooner or later you may come across a great deal such as this!

Your big bevel is a Stanley #25, dating 1878-1897. Its the 14", which is the largest they made. The uneven recesses you point out date it to the later portion of that date range, after they transitioned from even recesses. They moved back to even recesses in the 1930s.

The screwdriver with the brass ferrule has a similar two part construction as old Champion screwdrivers, but I have never seen one with brass.

I clean them up and keep specific ones. The ones I don't want or need, or that are duplicates, I sell. I hope to do restoration videos in the near future. That's my favorite part of this stuff - bringing it back to life.👍
