We are never told exactly what she is. Apparently is some kind of high ranking military in another country? She's wearing a tasseled uniform with several medals, her skin is very tanned, she's wearing a huge turban and there's a bird in her shoulder @@nekom.8299

But, if we take the CITY theory (CITY is another manga by the same author of Nichijou) that she is the mother of the Makabe Family, then we could say that she became an archeologist. I agree with this as in the final chapters we see a picture of her, and they are really look-a-like.

She's exactly like me when it comes to studying and trying to do homework. This school year is my graduation year and I'm really stressed because if I won't get good grades I won't be able to continue school and go to college and I'd have to start working. Im also thinking about what I want to be and i genuinely dont know, I just hope I'll be able to continue school and find something I wanna do

Well what are you interested in? As in - what did you tend to find yourself gravitating towards as a young child?? If you can't remember too well, perhaps ask your parents and what they remember seeing you spending your time doing. I'd self learn that particular profession and then build on it, until I could start doing it myself. I think that what (really) causes people's minds to go blank, is the prospect of doing something so disagreeable (e.g. doing things by "the system") that they lose all interest and then hope about what they're really interested in - like a bitter taste in the mouth. The entire mandating of one's very own existence is disagreeable, and that's why things like this feel so awful. People like Yuko need her (true) independence to be able to thrive. It just won't work otherwise. There's also supposed to be the C'estui que vie trust which is a living fund provided for you, and every one of us. A vocation is simply supposed to be a way to nobly obtain luxuries in life. It's simply not sustainable to have to rely on a vocation alone to sustain oneself. Too many other variables in life get in the way.

thıs ıs what ı was exactly thınkıng, I think the teachers from every subject are acting like my bosses, I don't want to have a boss in my life, I WANT FREEDOM, and its just for 12 years YET ÎT FEELS LIKE A LOT, I'm at my 10th year and I CANT TAKE ÎT, EVEN THOUGH I DÎD ÎT FOR MY PAST YEARS, KNOWING YOU WILL BE BOSSED AROUND FOR ANOTHER YEAR ÎT FILLS ME WITH PAIN EVEN THOUGHT I WANT TO HAVE GOOD GRADES, SCREW SCHOOŁ WE HAVE KZbin FOR THAT, THEY DONT HAVE TO FORCE YOU TO DO SOMETHING YOU DON'T LIKE FOR GRADES! what the heck socıety has lead to?

Very relatable...I just graduated and have no idea what I wanna do. I don't want to spend another 4 years in college, but it's dang-near impossible to live comfortably without a degree, and there's hardly any entry jobs out there that isn't Customer Service/Sale's (I have pretty bad anxiety). So then it's like, "I should just suck it up and go back to school," but all the majors I am interested in (STEM) requires me to study advanced math and science classes...which are two subjects I just couldn't grasp at all in school so I know I'd fail and it's a waste of time even trying. Then there's the question, "Well, what do I want to do?" -- Which is writing and becoming an author, but not everyone becomes the next J.K. Rowling, and any writer will tell you to have another job "just in case", so now we're going back to, "Well are there any jobs that suit my needs and doesn't require a degree or prior job experience?" -- And then it's just a constant loop of overthinking and suffering. Hell, even if I decided to just" join the military", I still have to take a test anyway to even get in (and yes, I didn't even score high enough to join the army). Life sucks. I envy those who knew what they wanted to do as soon as they became a freshman.
